I'm glad I waited a bit to read those chapters, 3 at once is better than just half per half. That said, I'm still confused about the finality of all this. Gally/Yoko getting in touch with the panzer kunst is good, but the rest feels like it's going so slow, or has so little importance for us.

I was gonna complain about her calm face not matching her personality in the barjak arc, but was pleasantly surprised by the angry face option.

seems about accurate to me, but because of the chronicle format it's hard for me to catch what's really "plot for latter" and what is "plot for lore".
I'm getting really desperate for "present" plot progression to be honest, I have always preferred when manga lore was put into side books or spin off ...

Kinda filler-ish fodder cleaning. for the audience at least, we know panzerkunst efficiency already. At least it confirm we finally got the real deal.

Really nice interview. I'm really sad to learn that he sold the anime/cartoon rights to the same people that did the movie. hopefully they never have the silly idea to use those.

Learned about this really late, but I don't think I would have been able to go anyway (and there might have been some tight selection to attend considering Angouleme Festival being so big these days).
Hopefully part of the masterclass will be put online since they got some local youtubers there.

hmmm, reading those mini-chapters, this is getting a bit weird to me. The art seems to be going away from its usual tone and the writing is a bit unnatural imo, like some pages were skipped. I guess the author is trying to compensate the low number of pages or something? It just feels off to me ...

Still going on with that kinda-comedy tone it seems, but at least that kauffman's arc means we are getting closer to the panzer kunst training. We got a cute girl in a bath towel though, which doesn't happen often with Kishiro.

The whole thing doesn't actually connect to anything even in the manga. It's just shock value, for all we know the organs could have been used by their scientists or some sick pervert.

Art style seems to be evolving a bit in those pages, wondering if it will carry on when the mood becomes serious again.

Kind of weird change of pace, with comedy and weird creeps characters appearing.

I really did get bored with that arc, I really feel like a big chunk of the plot was just... not plot. the story could have a few "back and forth" mini arcs cut and end at about the same point.I hope the panzer kunst politics are less ...

I always assumed the mathusalisation refereed to "flesh" humans only, and once you get your brain extracted inside a cyborg, it doesn't really matter anymore, since brain cells don't divide much after a certain age.
I personally don't like the idea of Gally being such a special snowflake in her ...

Gally has been through a few revivals already so at this point I have no doubt she's "stable". Pretty sure stuff like Venus genetics or Nova's nanotech can already achieve far worse than that.

Still not feeling it. It is better in some ways than the first trailers (Zalem, night shots mostly), but that Kuzutestu looks so generic, where is Yukito kishiro's wild atmosphere? none of the robot has his exotic look to it.
Also that shortcut for the berzerker body... why? Looks like a video game ...

More twists... But I'm not a fan of twist on top of twists like that, really feels like we are running in circle now.
Hopefully the meister ark is gonna be over soon, and we start with the panzer kunst round this year.

I'd say I love all the old "original serie" covers, they definitely set the mood well, even though I don't remember one that stands out.
Overall I'd say Last order #6 from an artistic point of view. love the pose, love the coloring.

Nova's the second, IMO he's more of a driving point in the story than Gally herself.
Erica definitely grew on me over time, so I'd put her third. She's a crazy evil that isn't fodder and the manga just need that from time to time since Nova is now sooo grey area.

dunno, Zechs was a nice way to illustrate some aspect of the brainchips clones but I'm not sure I want to read exclusive story with him. Good for comedy but I'm not a fan of hot head MCs.

Better tools never hurt, even though I'm not always convinced with the CGI coloring. It got better though, and that new style "old" gally looks great outside of maybe the lack of fluffy wild hair

considering how bitter I am with that movie, it can be delayed forever as far as I'm concerned. If bumblebee is a competition for it, then seriously, it can rest in peace.
