We won't be ever able to read the ending of Berserk! ARRRRRG!!
Feel free to move this to another section of the forum, ^Ripper, if you judge it won't fit in here, however I think this is relevant because warns us that an author or any of us readers (our dear Sergio) may die before completing a given series. It could be Yukito Kishiro the one who had died!
It is a huge loss and we won't ever be able to read Berserk's final, I wanna cry!
So much bad people deserving to die and yet...
The Hell is here, life itself is hell and humans are at the same time the demons and the damned.
I've never been a fan of Berserk, but I, of course, appreciated Miura's work and talent. It's a real shame that he died so young.
On a side note - this might be a bit irreverent, but the first thought that came to mind when I heard about his passing today was "welp, no more Berserk comparisons for Gunnm/Alita fans".
I saw that on Yukito' blog as well Quick translation with Google from his post :
Mourning Professor Kentaro Miura.
Report that Kentaro Miura of "Berzerk" died suddenly.
I'm still 54 years old ... Isn't it the same age as me? Too young.
Is "Berzerk" a perfect writing ...
Too bad ...
It is a big loss for the Japanese manga world.
I pray for your soul.
Many people are worried about my health condition on Twitter, so I will write about my recent situation.
In February of a year ago, I had a medical examination at the company immediately after returning from France.
He has high blood pressure and blood sugar level and is suspected of having diabetes, so he goes to the internal medicine hospital and continues to take light medication and diet.
I stopped drinking sugar and measured my blood pressure at home every day. Thanks to that, I've lost weight recently, and my blood sugar level is settling within the normal range. My blood pressure is still high and my blood cholesterol level doesn't go down easily, so I go to the hospital once every two months.
I rarely go out, so I haven't had a new corona so far.
The pace of manga work has slowed down compared to before, but I am working properly.
The immediate goal is to publish a new issue by the end of the year.
At least he is taking care of his own health, which is good. And also still active in his work, just going at his own pace.

Pretty much the same shit as me and I'm still 48, let's see who dies first. =P
I hope Miura's passing serves as a warning to Kishiro. I've noticed that lately there have been a number of Japanese mangakas and directors dying at a relative young age, for Japan's life expectancy standards and for developed countries in general.

Not to claim that this is THE reason, but, well, we still are in the middle of a pandemic... even if the virus itself doesn't kill a person, it may contribute to their death from other causes, unfortunately.
But yeah, I have a feeling that this piece of news has shaken Kishiro a bit. Hopefully something comes out of it.

Good thing I also been trying to take care of my health used to be 88kg at a 170cm height and now my weight has been down to 81kg through grit and exercise and listen to podcast to help easy my boredom, still working towards taking of my health as life itself is very precious

Damn was looking so forward to seeing the series end now it is like high school of the dead(have not read btw) forever unfinished same with the genius satoshi kon's final film dreaming machine(god that movie looks interesting). Makes me wonder if winds of winter will suffer the same fate due to this I mean george rr martin is 71 years old and he is not the image of health that is for certain

I'm 170cm too and my average weight was around 82kg (not anymore). It seems we are about the same body type.
Life is overstated, to me often it feels like a bad joke, nothing but an endless prank. If there's a god, I would punch the sonuvabitch in the face if I have the chance.

Well, all unfinished works and not written books are in Sandman's library of dreams. Now Berserk ending was added to his collection.

I have still hopes for Winds of Winter but at this rate I think a Dream of Springs will remain a dream
