Errr.. if this is the quick LQ translation, I can't get it... and so far it's the only one phase I still have in raw only version.crazyankan wrote:http://www.fuskbugg.se/luftposta/Glo71.zip
Or I only imagined there was a glo 71 scanlation? Was it only a figment of my sick mind and all we have so far is a raw?
Apologies for my horrid english, my brain is initiating its usual shutdown process z_z

Chapter 56-62 are chapter 59-65(I think).
Then you can download Phase 66 to 70, you can find them here http://www.rippersanime.com/index.php?page=Manga
Creops: Yes, 71-75.

Dammit, now I'll have to check everyday that website to have finally the translated version of phase 71.

*pokes again crazyankan*
What should I send ya?
Beer? nah, you've already got it.
Fish? yeah, like sending lipton tea to a britishman.
Cheese? Mmhmm. Italian cheese. Might be appreciated. If it ain't gorgonzola

Ok, gotta look for a postcard-sized photo of some of our best italian cheese then put it in the cheese box in the fridge for 1 month so at least you'll be able to smell it *lol*
*left brain went into shutdown before right brain so here you are*[/b]

The only thing I need is someone that take a look at phase 74 and 75 at http://jcafe.vnmanga.com/index.php/board,95.0.html
But some Czech beers could also be very appreciated =)
While I am waiting for those phases, I am currently working on some Eden chapters. Anybody else at this forum that reads Eden by Hiroki Endo?

Chrome wrote a PM with some suggestions
Page 1
"this two days"
->
"the last two days"
"this two days" is grammatically incorrect. Ideally the whole panel should be changed,
since the construction is not entirely correct in this context, since it would imply that
they found her before those 2 days.
"And even the"
-?
"Even the"
Just lose the word "and", it's superfluous.
Page 4
"A super first class soldier who coolly deals with any situation"
->
"A superb first class soldier who calmly deals with any situation"
This makes more sense in English, although the second half of the sentence is still not
entirely correct. But, blame it on the spur of the moment Smile
"She defeated Hogan from the space karate allies and his tricky kotengu style!!"
Something about this sentence isn't entirely right, but i'll have to look up what exactly
it is.
Page 5
"You wished that much to appear on TV?
->
"You wanted to be on TV that badly?"
Page 7
"amids"
->
"amidst"
"A winner hasn't been decided yet!"
->
"The winner hasn't been decided yet!"
There can be only 1 winner.
Page 8
"last bastion"
Bastion is the wrong word, since it needs a descriptor (bastion of what?). I'll need to
look up a suitable replacement.
Page 9
"Honestly, it lacks any impact it had before."
->
"Honestly, it lacks the impact it had before."
"infantryman"
I'm not sure this is the correct use of the word. Will look it up.
Page 10
"definition rate"
Is this a direct translation? It makes no sense to me.
"formation affirmative"
->
"formation confirmed"
Page 12
"What a mess it's making."
Is this really what it says in Japanese? Need clarification, as it sounds a bit odd.
"country's"
->
"nation's"
Country is the wrong word to use in this context, i think.
Page 13
"That's made possible"

"It's made possible"
"mother planet!!"
->
"home planet!!"
Page 14
"All the reserve energy is"
->
"All the energy reserves are"
Page 16
"Deplorabwe"
What does this word mean? What word is this supposed to be?

"the situation is gradually getting worse"
"I'll count on you."
->
"I'm counting on you."

shockingly bad

you can use guh instead
The footnote ends with: It disturbs radar waves by disseminating Chaff. Chaff was left out, it separated from the rest of the line, because of the forum width.
Forgot to clarify this line based on the comments by Chrome.
T727: That's made possible by the Wormhole reactor inside it, which passes an inexhaustible energy supply from far far away, from our Mother Planet!!
As for why I put Mother Planet, the kanjis used here aren't the ones that translate as home planet or homeland. Kishiro used the kanji for Mother + Star/Planet more as a pun on this: Motherland.
Second,

Decision rate, fixed rated, settlement rate or definition rate, dunno which one would make more sense.
"formation affirmative"

"formation confirmed"
I've been refraining from translating literally everything the Jovian operators say. Because all their lines would end up blah blah affirmative, blah blah negative, blah blah affirmative, blah blah negative and so on. Dunno if people can forgive a single affirmative instead of confirmed for this Jovian dudes, or as a protest I'll leave all the literal translations for the Jovians. Undertanding affirmative?

So I'd have wrote it as Motherland as a direct reference to this, or write it Mother Planet as the pun intended in the manga. Hope you understand that it isn't a mistake on my side but more a deliberate thing by the author.The term "Motherland" is very often applied to Russia, and many Russians and various Slavs around the world refer to Russia as their motherland, even if they do not have immediate ancestors from that country.
