Fucking classic? I daresay you have found the perfect definition.
I myself cannot see any relation to Eden, but I agree entirely that it is also great (although, it is not finished and we have to suffer).

Sergio: Eden is complete. Ch 126 was the final chapter.
But it's not completely scanlated.
Eden is also one of my other projects

Have three chapters finished that I hasn't released yet.

Probably. Having Dolph Lundgreen as an avatar, you must be exactly that. Fortunately, your curriculum as a benefactor is enough to absolve you in any court.
Let me know one thing: how many volumes of
Eden we have? The last one I downloaded was 14, but I read somewhere (probably
Manga Undergraound, but I am not sure) that they had 17 volumes scanlated. If it is really that, we readers will have to wait for three volumes. At least readers who cannot read Japanese.

14 completely scanlated.
Released ch 98 today. The first chapter in vol 15.
And there are 17 volumes raws.
I added you to my msn. I can send you chapter 99, 100 and soon 101 if you like =)
Where are ch 80?

Every raw takes longer and longer time

lol .. in Poland the latest volume of Eden to buy is 16 ..
guaaahh i READ whole 20th Century Boy .. i think im gona die after that .. 3 days spent to read it all...
heh .. about climate of Eden .. i think i was to exagerated to say something like that

anyway i like this time shifts... and thats why i think narrating style is similiar ... and climate is also somehow "post apocalyptic" when humanity is almost wiped out but for real it isnt.
when i checked about Eden chapter .. its already able to download at manga traders .. and WOOT the Blade of Immortal is UP !!!!!
starting to read 21st century boy .. only 2 volumes... about 16 chapters ...

Yes, it seems you have liked 20th Century Boys.
I have entered Manga Traders, but they have up to volume 15 only.
I am already downloading it, obviously.
Thanks for the tip.

After 20th/ 21st you should read "Monster" by Urazawa. Some people say, its even better than 20th. I still have to read it myself but I dont have the time atm...
@Eden: I have never read it. Would you recommend it? I always thought, since BAA is that good at the topic of robots and androids, what more could give me another manga about that. Or can Endo do the miracle to add further aspects?

Man, I just realized that Ultra Jump 9 will be out in 10 days, and we still don't have our Phase 80. All this waiting is making me antsy.

I will check it out this
Monster manga. Lookin after it i found another Urasawa's manga -
Pluto.. but i didnt read it ..
About
Eden it's more like about sense of sufering in human life and world than comming about "is human a mare machine". It's quite good example of murphy's law i may say: Whatever you will do it can always end FUBAR.
There are also cyborgs (not so rusty as in BAA) but their are not so common. But i encurage you to read it .. and mostly from 1st volume becuse if you drop 1 volume you are out of story.. it is quite fast paced manga and lots of shuting and knife fighting ...

1) Monster. It is really a great work. I recommend it to the most demanding readers, but let us not exaggerate. 20th Century Boys is even better.
2) I certainly recommend Eden. The plot and the narrative are great, the characters are very well developed and the cyborgs… well, they are in a completely different approach. Actually, I daresay the cyborgs here are completely different from the ones in Gunnm. We are talking about different and independent narratives; both great!

I don't know actually if it was a good choice, but I myself found interesting a manhua "Change Guy" — from the matrial art pow it's quite good fiction.

Ah Eden i had some of the first issues (till the second time jump which introduced that female cop) on Mangaproject.cjb.net. Not really bad and nice art but to tragic and dark for my taste.
I rather prefer Blade of the Immortal.
One question about it's end.
Did it end with everyone being absorbed by that mutated virus which absorbed the mind of the infected? Or did it end worse?
If yes then i guessed it would happend that way, since the whole presentation of eden had always been that its not an endless world but a pile of crap. On the other hand it mainly played with thing which also happen in our world just with lots of sci-fi elements in it.
So i guess it was more like holding a mirror up to us (if i got it right the arc in the redlight district was inspired from the youth of the autor who lived near a redlight district in his youth, so he knew from youth that world is not really shiny).
One thing i always found almost funny was, how everyone who told their own backstory or something important of their past directly where absolutly certain to die (often in a horrible way). While others whos backstory is told in flashbacks or by others have a relative high survival chance (Kenji and Sophia for example, even though i don't know how long they actualy made it).
By the way where is issue 80 of Gunnm actualy.

you suck ... totaly spoiled about 7 tomes of manga or more .. MEN !!! when you ever try to give any details of manga's plot you should shout your mouth shut!!!
Sorry for that ... in Germany the 15th volume (SPOILER: where Mana dies SPOILER END) is already available for a long time, so I'm a little bit surprised that some fans still don't have it ...

I think it might be available - in english - at a local store of your trust ...
If you only read it via internet you sure have to wait a little bit longer ...
But please don't blame me if you're only one of those online-readers and just not well enough informed ...
