game is still in jap, but all actions and dialogues are translated, you just have to keep them open in your computer or print them but the later will use a lot of paper

Did you read all the script? It was way too long for me, although I must admit I would like to know whats going on in the game.
But playing the game once, my impression was that its nearly impossible to hit all the requested buttons on your keyboard. A controller would be much better. (I dont have one, so I wont play it anymore.)

I haven't read all the script yet. Actually, I haven't seen the translated text either. Something must be happening with my PC. The game starts but freezes after Alita's shadow is shown holding the Damascus Blade (well, at least I think it is Damascus Blade). I'll probably have to format my PC, even because it's going slower than the traffic in São Paulo.

Just a question (and I apologize if it sounds stupid): is it possible to use a PlayStation control on a Windows-based PC?

I've had the same problem with the freezing. I think the solution was to press v, c, x in a row at the moment with the shadow. That corresponds with start, select and triangle or something in your default controls. Now you should see the start up screen. I did understand it that way, that you dont have the translated text ingame but only in those documents, to read them along the way.
Speed: My game did run very slow too, but I always thought that this was becoause of my old pc. If your pc has more than 1 Ghz there shouldn't be a problem normally.
Controller: I dont know if there maybe is an adapter from a playstation-port to usb. But there are controllers for pc too. If you have a PlayStation, why not burn the Iso on a disk and play it there?
