Here links for direct scanlation from the original forum, http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread. ... el&page=20

I think it's better to use it only for yourself, i think they would not appreciate stealing their works.

thanks for the links

Thx trob030490!
Did you find the translation on mangahelpers?
 How did I miss it? Checking daily isn't enough anymore!

Hey everyone,

Crazyankan recently sent me a message and I'm currently talking with him about joining the Rippersanime release team. I had started releasing my own scanlations because from checking the activity on these forums I wasn't sure what had happened to the scanlators here. I realize that my scanlations are amateur, I have very little knowledge in the way of digital images and editing techniques, so joining you guys should allow BAA to be released in much higher quality.

@HumanRage, I hadn't realized the mangahelpers downloads were so slow. I added megaupload links for those, sorry about the trouble. I have absolutely no idea what size they should be, or what the standard format and encoding method is, sorry for my ignorance there too.

And Rippersanime rises up from again from the ashes like the sacred firebird Phoenix :D

TargaryenX: We have a script for Phase 89, can you take a look at it and see how accurate it is?
http://www.rippersanime.com/Forum/viewt ... ?f=5&t=430

And again, I am so glad that I see a hardworking translator is interested =)

Ohh this is great news!! finally we will be back on track with the releases. Thanks both of you for making this posible in each of your your field experience.

Back to the chapters (only 89 missing). I am glad to learn that Alita help Zazsi for the right reasons, and also see that trinidad is considering droping his bad boy attitude; I like how he was portraited as an ambiguos yet reasoble character at the beggining of LO, but then he went on becoming just a stereoptipical badguy.

I know Zekka was doing something to his body, perhaps overclicking hit older model body more than it can withstand.

Also, there goes a question. What was the joke that Sech involutary made that everyone when crazy lol ??. English is not my first languaje so I get that she used an adjetive there wrongly used, but what did that meaned????

@TargaryenX & team: Wow thank you So much for this! :) It's like a christmas present.

Don't mind our corrections and stuff, its just our habit, we like to do that ;) We all just love Alita, thats all :D
Ah thanks again, unexpected surprises are always the best.

@the_maxx: don't nail me on it, but I think Sechs just don't get the meaning of "potty training" (=easy, stupid, childish training). He/ she catches Zekkas phrase and repeats it full of self-confidence to sound super cool - which obviously goes totally wrong.
Also, its the second time that Zekka made a fool out of Sechs (first time was when Sechs said "2 years old" ;))

Exactly! As we are unable to translate Japanese, all we have to do is to criticize other people's work. :D

Happy with the renewed activity here.

About the Secsh comment; the wikipedia makes me think that Zekka was making fun of him because he is just two years old, and that potty training means that he ask if Secsh has learned to use a baby toilet.

Secsh of curse doesn't know what that it, and uses the word as if it makes him look intimidating. But turn out to be the complete other way around. hehe

This is correct. On a side note, I notice there are a lot of people here who aren't native English speakers. Is there a particular reason that you're translating the manga into English and not say, Portuguese or French? (that is not to say that your English isn't excellent, Sergio's grasp of English grammar is actually much better than mine)

Simply because English is Earth's official language, to say the least. There is a translation into French, already (http://www.minnanomanga.org/) and, nevertheless, the universe of readers is already reduced. As to Portuguese, well, I am the only Portuguese speaker here, and one swallow does not make a summer.

Well, I don't know if English is the Earth's "official" languange. I like to thing that because I am American, but there are other universal languages like Mandarine Chinese, Spanish, Latin (even though it's a dead language) or Arabic. Although English is the most international language.

I have to disagre, even because:

1. There are more English language students in China than the whole population of the United States. Besides, I cannot imagine an Italian negotiating with a Israeli in Mandarin.
2. Spanish is spoken in many countries, but all of them are in the same place: Latin America. Out of such countries, Spanish is NOT an international language. It is a language of the European Community, but even Greek is.
3. Latin is the international language of the Holy Catholic Church only. If you are not a doctor of the Church, neither the institution is holy nor you have a usage to Latin (although I agree the language is unique).
4. Arabic would be classified in the same level of Spanish, but actually, the Arabic spoken in Egypt is NOT understood by Iraqis, so I would NEVER consider it an international language.

I admit that Earth's official language is a sort of poetic license of mine, but the reality is exactly that. This community is just an example.

By the way: Martians speak German, Jovians speak Russian, Venusians speak French, but Terrestrians (The Scrapyard/Tiphares/Ketheres) speak English. As to Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin, they seem to have disappeared - as well as Japanese, to be honest.

Fair enough. I don't have a problem with English being the Earth's official language.

Martians, Jovians and Venusians speak English between them, too. Even the official language of LADDER seems to be English.
