There are two remaining obscurities, meaning auto520 (a) and Dharko (b) translated it in different ways.

So hi guys, new poster here, but longtime lurker. I've kept up with Battle Angel for months and months here, excited for each and every new release. After months of no new translations and this lovely chapter 80 being in limbo I was very excited to see a sudden burst of activity on the translation front. However, mere weeks later, it seems to have all stalled to a halt again.

I'm absolutely desperate for new Battle Angel, and I absolutely refuse to look at the untranslated RAWs. So let me post here my question:

How is progress on phase 80 currently? Are there any ways that I can help out?

I don't know Japanese, but I'm very fluent in English, and can help with proofreading.

The first sounds like Engrish. I'd rephrase it as "I'll snatch this trophy with all my energy".

could they mean to say "Ladder Treaty", there have been earlier mentions of a Ladder treaty against nanotechnology. Also, perhaps "sensation of crisis" or "crisis situation" would be better. crysis (misspelled) sensation just sounds a bit too engrishy. As to the BIO HAZZARD, if my memory is correct, wasn't the catastrophe with Dr. Warez called the Warez Hazzard? Is this what Kishiro is referring to?

"Ladder TREATY" is correct, I´m sorry, I have just noticed my mistake with the word.

Oh gosh, just read through all of LO 80, and it was truly amazing! In a comparable number of chapters, a second-rate manga like Bleach or Naruto would have hardly finished a single battle, but in this one we had tons of dynamic action, and plenty of Kishiro's signature bizarre, wacky humour (seriously, that guy got drowned in breasts! What the hell! Haha!). Insanity like this is why I read this wonderful comic. It was well worth the wait, and we have the best quality scans!

Ah -- are all changes set in stone once it's been released? I was holding back on proofreading before I'd read the chapter itself for visual context, but there's some things I'd work over to improve the English.

Still, great work everyone. I can't wait to see what happens next! I knew that puny animals had nothing on the karate masters, but one really wonders how their armour-piercing cyber karate moves will fare against a gigantic Venusian octopus. For that matter, since resonance waves don't travel in fluid media, moves like Hertza Haeon would be useless against a fleshy opponent that has no resonant frequency. I'm really interested in seeing how Kishiro deals with this -- I'm betting the arena will be filled with Venusian octopus blood by the end of the next chapter.
