I agree with most of it , but I belive that Caerula will go down on Earth , she can't be a secondary character. And Also I can't see Sechs taking anyone as master, not even Zekka, I belive she or he will follow Alita on Mars , the better place to become strong is to fight, and the situation is perfect for that.
I think the next chapter will be about the political change between Salem and the scrapyard.

Just have to ask, are we just giving up all consideration to
Alita's brain that Super Nova took in trade for Lou's brain,
(we all remember Lou don't we? Lou, she is the reason this all started).
You mean the "REAL" Alita is now the cyber entity who can not
be the True Alita (Because it was Lou's brain, the one that was put into the "P" box.)

For some reason, I'm starting to think that only Alita is going to Mars, leaving the crew after whatever is gonna happen on the Moon. Maybe other guys can join her, but most of the current ones will take another way, what doesn't mean they are never going to appear again (Zazie is going to Mars, for sure). Even Don Fua has some chance to show up again (it looks for me that he left just as the Terminator, swearing to "be back").

I'm even considering the possibility of Sechs becoming Zekka's pupil.
I really don't know... It' becomes more confused everytime i read.

You know, I had honestly forgotten about Alita's brain in all of this.

I'd say that either A. It's going to end up as another ghost inside Mechelzidek like Arthur
or
B. Alita and Lou both get physical bodies and journey back to Earth/Tiphares, with Original Brain Alita keeping Tiphares Nova in check (and rejoin Figure) while Android Alita heads off to Mars to deal with Supernova.

Option C. would be for Alita to recover her brain and have it replace the brain chip she's currently using, but overall that would be an odd choice for her to make.

Personally I was surprised that her brain-chip wasn't running in parallel with her organic brain once it fuse with the Fata Morgana, as that should have given her a quantum link to it through Mchzdk.

I stand by Sechs leaving though. Mars has no particular interest for him, the ZOTT has revealed that there are warriors like Zekka, Don Fua and Caerula who equal/surpass even Alita's skill, which should cool his obsession with beating her, and I could see his new obsession being surpassing Zekka. And Zekka's lifestyle would probably be attractive to both Sechs and the bunnies.

Unless she plans to abandon the Stellar Nursery Society in a war zone, Caerula will head back there, and with Mbadi dead Alita is the single most interesting person she knows.

Don Fua (the Cheshire Cat) may fall into the role of dual teacher to Toji's Karate and Alita's Quantum Collapse Uncertainty Feat.
IMO, She's been instinctively using a power like Don Fua's since book 1, just badly like the fight with the GIB robot and then accidently as when she escaped the Death Gate, then successfully as when she evaded Rakan's "rape strike". She's just about the Scatterbrained Calico at this point.

That is a really original alternative. I like it.

now that the zoot is over I don't think we can really call Gally and her friend a "team" anymore. the "team" was specifically formed for the tournament. now that it's over, everybody is free. Gally herself wasn't a great teamplayer to begin with, so if she goes to mars, it will probably be for personal reason, not "shounen power of friendship".

I'll bet the gene sequence synthesizer from the early part of the story is going to create a human body for alita, with her human brain & all.

It's a bit off and that's also a bit strange that no one asked already, but we were used to some pretty fast translations.

I'll bet against you. That Organ is used to formulate new gene sequences, whereas Alita and Lou already have a genetic code. All Nova needs to ressurect either of them is a significant portion of their brains.

I agree, to a point.
First you must consider how Alita's brain will be corporeal. Will an entire new body be constructed, or will she merge with the "Cyber Entity Alita".
Not only expect Erica, but "Tzyke the Brute" who's head Super Nova took to Mars to do as he wilt to emerge with a new body.

Since she is Technically free of any charges of the Camlan Tragedy having been served her execution, and a small matter of 2 centuries having passed. I would like to think that double indemnity is a rational in the future.
I predict the Weasel, Martin, and Sechs will make comebacks, and you know Xazi and Mars Battle action is on its way.

I have yet to find another cyberpunk manga, with a strong female lead, to replace Alita.

I have no idea how to identify what is cyberpunk or not (maybe I have to study a little), but that is the way Wikipedia categorize them. Anyway, these ones have my approval, with no exception.
