I don't know. The plot himself is fine, yet the rithm is far too slow. If it was in the origina BAA serie the whole ZOT busines wouldn't have lasted more then 2 volumes, as for the Motorball plot and even for the Barjacks War, and characters would have been more original, and epically inspective as for Matzukaze, Jashugan and Den. After the first Ladder meeting the whole manga seems to be out of fit, here in italy many thinks alike of me, and most of them quitted even buying it. I must admit if the story would have started with the ZOT i wouldn't have bothered reading Alita

I start to regreat for the original "Pinocchio" ending

I have to say, I find the overall "down" attitude regarding the story to be a little discouraging. I mean, maybe Kishiro's in some kind of creative slump, and maybe he is losing a little of his spark (tournament storyline, petitioning readers for character ideas), but the payoff has always been worthwhile in the past. I personally enjoy his art style enough to look at whatever he does, and I'm very interested in seeing where the story goes from here. I agree it's taking a while, but I have faith in something greater, that whatever happens will happen for a reason, and even personal indulgences on the part of our beloved writer can be forgiven.
I'm confident it will continue to please. Please ME, anyway.
Speaking of...U. Jump's up at raw-paradise now.

Give it time, mane! It just came up. The point is that now we know it's coming. No uncertainty.

Hmmm... I'm usually extremely patient about the down-periods in mangasereis. A couple of years ago the Blade of the Immortal series reached the now infamous "prison-arch" where very little to hardly anything happened for 20-30 chapters. Some people dismissed the series as a "lost-the-plot" case, but today the manga is as intense and hectic as ever (one of my favorites btw). It's always possible to revitalize.
So... if Kishiro were to focus the next twenty chapters of GLO on an inner monologue by Deckman 100 I would still eagerly anticipate the next chapter!
EDIT: Blame! being continued??? That's one of the rare series I actually thought had an appropriate and satisfying ending that didn't need to be continued.

im suprised too about
BLAME! .. but raw is on raw-paradise... so who knows... i also was VERY satisfied with ending but hmmm when i wached raw it somehow lost impact on me (raw not ending

) .. who knows ... we must wait how plot will go and also wait for someone who can scanlate it..
from where you can get
Blade of Immortal
im quite currious about the plot ... how Manji get out or how Shira can be kick ass when he is so ... hmmm wracked..

Time is not that much yet

What puzzles me is that usually GLO was about the fourth or fifth raw to be released, this time they are given it out even after "the dreadfull revenge of killer nazi smurf"
Is Manji the original name from blame main character? In the version i read the name was Killy, that sounded weirdly ridicolous, yet uneasengly appropriate

I concur whole heartedly, this looks like a great chapter and I'm very excited for when the translation comes in. Based on what's happened it looks like it's leading to confrontation (final?) with Col. Payne's geist by Cat Alita, which'd be very interesting considering her new attitude and powers. Also, can't believe Don Fua is back, and I'm real excited to see whether he or others join up with Zekka on the Space Karate team. In any case, the Space Karate Battle Royale is still a significant highlight.

Just had to think about Decoy Octopus from Metal Gear Solid
HumanRage, that rules!
Whats with the new guy, is he stronger than Toji?? He seems to have a pigtail like a samurai, but its a crayfish instead of hair hehe.
Finally the story goes on, next chapters the ZOTT could reopen.

No matter what the story holds there's always some great images in GLO.
The image of Alita and Toji's tea-party with a mushroom cloud rising in the background was priceless. A & T landing in the arena, and Alita doing a sumersault in the second-to-last page was good too.

toji explains something about karate to her, and since she is a moron and doesn't understand, and half cat (after all, her name is ido's cat name !) she is figuring what he says under cat shape, and of course it's enev more impossible to understand that way
but she seems to see through all the explanation, and toji cries out loud of her innocence ...
so cute !
