It is an interesting game, especially because many characters there were presented in Last Order. Others, like Potëmkin, were abandoned (actually, it was replaced by Aga Mbadi).

You have the video-game available here in the site, and even a translation into English.

I've tried to recreate one of Alita's coolest poses using the action figure bundled with the limited gaiden release. The pose is one she made in HFV - Angel of Death. This is the best I could achieve.

Also Alita is such a dustbunny.
Out of all the figurines i have, this one collects the most dust...
Its like a swiffer dust magnet >_>

She was inside her plastic case, I took her out just for shooting some pictures. When I saw the full size pictures in my monitor I noticed some dust. Dust is the second worst enemy of a figurine collector (the first is the customs) and a perfect example of the entropy in action.

I'm envious. Unfortunately I found out about these figures just this year.

Theye are now an arm on a leg on ebay. People are asking around ~$200USD for just the figure itself.

Actually, US$169, plus US$45 the shipping to USA (http://cgi.ebay.com/Limited-Box-Gunnm-A ... 2c5c7dcafa). Thus you will be paying US$214. Believe me, it is cheap.

I know this isn't a consolation, but this figurine doesn't worth even 50USD. Masaki Apsi, who is the creator of the figma line, also made this one, but he made it inferior than an average figma. Probably because it was intended to be just a bonus added to the gaiden release. I was displeased when I got it, because it was expensive and I had to order it twice, the first one I ordered was lost in mail - thanks to the first enemy I mentioned previously.

Its not a cast and the paintjob is not the greatest.

On ebay there are a lot of artists willing to do the job for you (not just ebay i guess)

I'm the kind of person who doesn't open the anime toys or kits that I collect.

Thanks for the feedback on the figure. I think all of us wish that there was more BAA merch out there but if there's no market, they won't make it.

I am no too anxious to get it. The price point as mentioned above is just too high for current budget. Same with those $70 Heroism shirts.

Well, at least I have the intention to try someday. I even purchased some materials and guides... in Japanese, lol! However there are some good tutorials in English online.

Also there is the option of 3D printing, however this service isn't available where I live and, even if it was, it would be too expensive.

There is a German store that will deliver that toy decently painted and assembled for only… €400.
THAT is expensive.

I also own Ashen Victor
And I have acquired that little thing that you can see on this page though mine is not as beautiful as this guy's resin kit but it was the last one they had so....

That GK is quite old, and it's based on the OVA character design. The other one (egg plus wings) is very old too. The first time I saw both was about ten years ago.

Besides those GK, there is an Alita doll also, equally as old. Is there any hero in this forum that own that doll??

I almost forgot! Once I saw a GK of Alita in her motorball gear, unfortunately it was very ugly and I never saw it again.

Several people here have the dolls, I'm a big fan of these as the face sculpt is just perfect. I've seen the motorball statue you mentioned and agree that it's uglier than a half melted rubber bulldog.

About the doll, how is her body under the clothes? Is it a plain doll body or is it made like her cyborg body?

I really want one too, but they are rare on Ebay and I always miss them when they are posted there. They come in at least two versions: red outfit and black outfit. I agree that the face sculpt in pretty much perfect.

Last one I saw for sale went for $300-$400 US.

Besides all gunnm + glo mangas , which I bought from the very beginning, (when it became available in france in 1995), this is the only merchandise I bought, I guess I'm above average... in penis size

yet beware, lately the black varnish on the hair fell off in once (i dropped it), had to do a little painting
