I think that most of up probably feel like Last Order didn't tap into all of its potential. If you think so, then what are some of the changes you would have made to the story to make it better from your point of view?

Well no series in the world is perfect. But if I have to suggest improvements for one, I would have like to seen Trinidad's kalaripayattu, as Vilma mentioned. But since Alita was too strong it really made Trinidad look bad and thus that potential is gone. Also would like to see a flashback on how Vilma and Trinidad became close friends before. Another would be to see the offshore factory city Nezher at the Indian Ocean he just showed 2 panels of it and we never see it again. Also I would like to know who the fourth scientist is from the GENE project.

IMO, I think it would have been beneficial to cut out some unneeded parts of the tournament while keeping only the important matches intact. Like alita's team vs caerula's team being kept as it is, and keeping the final match intact as well. However, a lot of the matches in between didnt really seem to serve much of a purpose overall and were only kept probably because shuesha seems to love long tournaments for some reason.

Other than that, I think time could have been spent to elaborate more about how the superpowers in the solar system work, along with further explanations about zeus. I think it would have been cool if Zeus was something like a minor cosmic entity who was contacted by the Jupiter inhabitants to aid them to become the dominant civilization in the whole universe. That along with a few mini-arcs like one with Jean Vars which explains his story in detail .etc.

Another change I would suggest is Alita's personality in the final match. They changed her from her old personality into becoming a jerk. I don't anyone has any feasible theories on why Alita behaved like that. I think it's a pretty significant complaint and I would suggest changing that aspect in a heartbeat

I think YK is trying to compete with a bigger "Marvel Universe" by just using math and a fan art contest to make the ZOTT interesting. Lots of the ideas came from the fan contest I guess? I am kind of amazed at how different the teams are, and how everyone gets some story, and we still wind up at the obvious conclusion. PLUS he just throws in this huge Vampire story. I hated ZOTT mid, and almost gave up on Gunnm, having been on board since 2. I think the phonebooks really helped me hold it all together in one spot and read a pretty amazing story.

The finale will make an amazing movie some day, in a million years. It is so complex, and quite frankly I could care less about the battle between Zazzie and Rakan, Alita is teleported to another dimension, Zekka vs. Sechs practically steals the show,...it is a funny big story that makes sense at the end but it definitely meanders more than most things in pop culuture.

All this, plus he still draws with about the same pop visual appeal as someone like a Jim Lee.

I mean, we all now don't doubt that we will find out about the lost time on Venus.
