If you mirror the pages the artworks are mirrored too. I'd rather read "backwards" then to compromise the work of the artist at such a level.

MIRROR THE PAGES!?! This day and age and there's someone asking for that!?
And a Brazilian on top of that, sigh!... It is now more than a decade that the publishers stopped mirroring manga here in Pindorama, following the worldwide movement to not do that anymore. The readers matured over the years and pressed the editors to do that in respect for the original works. What the hell, is this guy a zombie!?

It's cheaper to not mirror them. That, I think more than anything else, drives the choice when it comes down to it.

when they started publishing in the 90's the market needed manga to be less exotic to readers. They kept it there for a long time to not have the story suddenly "flip" it would just be messy.
reprints are now in the correct order though.
