We're getting 6 Battle Angel Alita hardcovers other than current deluxes of original series the 6th is Holy Night & other stories so hopefully I can finally read Barjack rhapsody in large format. Its listed at $29.99

yes six deluxe books, collecting all the battle angel alita story will no longer be a pipe dream now

New hardcover edition plus movie related manga... Guess it is better start milking dry the fans before the movie fiasco.
Well, it will be all for the best if the some of these opportunist releases manage to attract new fans.

Instead of holy night they should've stuck with christmas eve serenade as that sounds better as a book title christmas eve serenade & other stories or Barjack Rhapsody & other stories works too.

Happened with the ghost in the shell deluxe editions took a year though I'd expect baa deluxe edition boxset to be about the akira 35th anniversary price though.
I wish kodansha would release a alita collectible though like 99 badge or barjack flag something low cost to at least have official merch in US.

Since this is a hardcover in order to match the other hardcovers we'll need more than gunnm gaiden so any other release that's possible to add maybe the novel?

It can be a thinner hardcover. The novel wasn't written by Kishiro and would likely cause confusion, + there's the movie novelization on the way.

well kodansha has it at 300 pages so maybe we're getting gaiden artbook split as at c2e2 last year kodansha said v5 would have unused illustration gallery/color pages but looks like that got moved to this.

I'm a BIG Gunnm fan, I have all of the editions twice and I'm looking forward to buying them one more time.

Thing is, I'm in Germany atm, and I think I'll be staying here. So I'm learning German and I'm considering getting the 'Full edition' in German.

Thing is... the German one has no Hardcover....

German is cheaper, but I can get the English version for as low as 110 Euros.

Things to consider here are, I'm interested in buying new future editions of Last Order and (eventually, if possible) Mars Chronicle. And I want all my editions to be the same size.

What would you guys recommend? What's your opinion?

Thank you for the heads up. For me I'm not really sure if the hardcover and extras justifies buying the whole series for a third time and at that tag price but I'll consider it.
