Once again and again, Yukito has missed his deadline for issue 2018 9 evening magazines. Well this time I don't blame him as he is having personal problems at the moment. I hope he feels better and continue to draw the series soon or later.

Probably he got Kentaro Miura's syndrome.

Looks like he's no longer much into the project.

He should probably do a one shot manga that's not as dark as mars chronicle just so he could clear his head with a more upbeat work like a sequel to fly maybe?

Fly/Hito was clearly meant to be an one shot. I would like to see him retaking Aqua Knight that he gave a ridiculously rushed ending.

Well, it's regrettable, but you won't see me crying because of that, there are plenty of manga to read and many of them are way better than Mars Chronicles.

We still got Berserk, but now it would take even longer to see how mars chronicle end which I admit adds more frustration for me, because I want to see battle angel Alita become, really good again

I said that there are plenty of manga to read, so as an exemple, I started reading this one that won the 22º Tezuka Award and also got an anime rendition: https://erai-raws.info/anime-list/golden-kamuy/
If you want angst and gore, I may recommend Wolfsmund (already finished): https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=46175
Fantasy? Ran to Haiiro no Sekai https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=39704
Berserk like stuff? Übel Blatt https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=2291
SF, angst and gore? Narutaru https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=2394
Hard SF? Hoshi o Tsugu Mono https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=63282
Dark humor, gore, fantasy? Dorohedoro (perhaps the most original manga I have ever read) https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=209
SF, mecha, space battles? Knights of Sidonia https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=40103

I can number many others if you still want more.

Hoshi o Tsugu Mono looks like it could be interesting.

Anyone with me to go kidnap Kishiro's dogs until he finish mars' cronicles?

Seems like his priority is making dog videos, rather than I don't know drawing the damn series already  .

Also kidnapping might actually make him even more depressed and the series will suffer further delays

Don't be narrow minded, guys. As for Mars Chronicle, do as Elsa says: Let it go, let it go...
