Alita figure Ori project by E2046

Newest E2046 Ori project.
I wanted a lot an Alita's figurine portraying her as a tuned agent, but not this handicapped version (with wings on top of that) :frown: . Nevertheless, the sculpt seems to be pretty accurate. Let's hope she will feature optional head and limbs to compose a non handicapped portrait.
Spoiler:
If you don't know what an E2046 Ori is, google it, I'm not in the mood to explain.

Seems interesting. Too bad there is no official merch for alita but only fan made figurines instead better than nothing I suppose. The legit disadvantage of fan-made merch is non of the revenue goes towards the original creator which is part of the reason I would buy official merch as I would be happy to give some of my money to the original creator to thank them for their hard work and creating series I enjoy personally. Kotobukiya or Good smiles are very popular brands but they don't seem to be interested in Alita. Meanwhile buying figurines is a pain with the virus as EMS delivery is delaying a lot of overseas shipping atm.

Yeah, I was pissed that the big Japanese figurine makers ignored Alita's movie and what we got instead was a bunch of movie based statues that didn't look very nice and that had hefty price tags. So, if E2046 is taking the initiative of creating a manga based figurine, I will support them (if the figure meets my tastes), despite what they are doing is actually piracy. Well, I've already purchased a lot of Kishiro's work, then he may excuse me over that.
And yes, this pandemic is making things a lot harder than what they usually are. Currently Japan is not sending parcels to Brazil, unless if you resort to carriers such as DHL that are unbelievable expensive.

Apparently amiami is offering discount on dhl since ems is terminated over there temporarily. I bought 3 products (2 figures and 1 wall scroll) ems shipping price was 5480 yen while, another order I bought 22 figure( very cheap official figure that are 15usd each) and the dhl shipping price was 6480 as they are having discount for dhl right now, they let you see the shipping price then give you a final choice whether to purchase or cancel.

That's a very nice sculpt. Except maybe the wing.

And I second you folks re: lack of Alita merch as well as the current painful shipping rates. I can't even afford my usual monthly box of sweets/snacks anymore. :(

Here's the painted prototype. It didn't turn out as good as the unpainted version suggested, plus they kept the wing and it seems there won't be an alternative non crippled portrait. It isn't good enough to satisfy my standards, but there's such a lack of Alita's figurines that it may be good enough for many. So far there isn't any info regarding the price, but since she is kinda plain, it shouldn't be very high.

Yep, she's a little plain; her hair especially could use some more detail.

I still don't like the wing, but the rest looks fine. Worth considering due to the lack of many other options, I suppose.

The tuned armor was ocra-yellow. That wing there sucks. Otherwise a nice model.

Preorders are open, if you're a VIP member, the price is a little lower. There are two options: painted or unpainted. Unpainted is far cheaper, but you need a set of skills, tools and materials to do the job. I've tried before and it's quite a mess.
I'll post the link here, but I must disclaim that I'm earning nothing by doing so, I have no association with E2046. https://www.e2046.com/p/38617/&title=fa ... re-painted
