Sorry, no raw out, except in stores. And, well, I got no scanner, so all I can do is tell you what happens. Hah!

(SPOILERS)

TITLE: A Block semifinal

Starts off with lots of ships out in space listening to a Jovian (I think) broadcast, which, interestingly enough, is written in barcodes.

Anyways, the seed team is from Jupiter, so everyone in the Jovian empire (that's a lot of people) is watching. They're going up against the Angels, which is effectively just Sechs at this point, since Alita is MIA and Elf/Zwolf are being useless ponces.

A Jovian spectator shows up in the announcer box, with a slightly more humanoid body, although his head is still the weird block thing. He also has a blocky cat sitting on his head. I think his name is something like Chihonof 727.

Hopper is still on fire. You'd think someone would put him out.

Anyway, the Jovian opponent is this 50-meter-wide, 500-ton ball, called Wohmen 609, or Ubernote. It unfolds a bit, revealing different weapons and appendages.

It starts by launching some nanopolymer blocks at Sechs -- the same thing that Trinidad caught all of them in when they first came to Ketheres.

Anyways, Sechs dodges hundreds of the nanopolymer blocks, and they end up surrounding him by making a huge pyramid out of the blocks.

Ubernote launches a ton of missles at Sechs, who uses his expand punch to get out before they hit. While Sechs is still flying through the air, Ubernote launches more missles at him...

...at which point, Sechs starts bouncing between them in midair, alternately cutting them apart and riding them like a surfboard.

Sechs redirects a ton of the missles at Ubernote, which seems to take on a more jelly-like consistency, and grow to a size of 100 meters. I think the Jovian guy is very proud of this.

Ubernote, now roughly 1/3rd the size of the entire arena, begins spinning around incredibly fast, tossing around everything in the arena like a hurricane. The Jovian dude refers to this move as the "Jupiter Mixer."

The last two pages show Zazie infiltrating some other ship, labeled OLYMPUS EXPRESS C-078 (okay, technically it's olympos, but he meant to write olympus) while everyone's distracted. I think what she says on the last page is, "Well then, maybe now's a good time to meet."

(SPOILERS)Chihonof 727
If he's Russian, his name is Tikhonov, please note it.

Tikhonov is 'the man who's quiet and meek person'
Chihonof is 'the man who sneeze'

So it's better to not mix it up. :D

Awesome!

First thing I saw was an Iron Maiden lyric on Sech's shoe, and I thought; "This is gonna rock>"

I was more or less right. :)

Not the first time that we see references from his favorite bands.

Volume 1 p12 12 Upper right. "Chemical Youth" is a song off Queensryche's "Rage for Order" album.

p83 The poster in the back of the bottom pannel reads "Don't ever trust the needle when it cries your name." This is almost directly from the Queensryche song "The Needle Lies", off their "Operation Mindcrime" album.

volume 2 p63 In the upper right, the van pulls up to a building marked "Factory Front 242". Front 242 is a Belgian industrial/synthesizer band, labelmates of Ministry.

volume 3 p127 Jashugan wears a pair of sun glasses with Borghesia on them. They were an "electronic body music" group from Slovenia back in the 80's.

volume 7 p69 "Radio KAOS" is the name of a concept album by Roger Waters , formerly of Pink Floyd. The plot revolves around a boy who, interestingly, is able to perceive radio waves.

Aw, dude, I know all about that stuff. In a Motorball crowd in volume 3 (i can't remember what page without looking), ever-so-slightly-obscured by a word bubble, is Vic, the Megadeth mascot.

And I think we all know about Zapan's symbol being on the cover of every Blue Oyster Cult album.

Heck, in Last Order Volume 5, Sech's shoes have a lyric from Judas Priest's "Blood Red Skies" on the bottom, on the two-page spread where he unloads his gun at Niz.

I love Yukito Kishiro so much. :)
