Intresting it seems that cyrstal is actualy right behind her brainchip.
Look closely you can see a small object behind her brainchip which looks a bit like a diamond.

We should promote a world wide petition to Kishiro, like: "Give brain back to Alita!"

But the brain of Alita is a different Alita! To be precise we have two Alitas now. Only one has no body at the moment . But who knows what she is doing in this time? Probably like a coma or she is doing something (dreaming)? Or she is a part of Melzideks core now?

The Alita we are reading about in the moment is 'only' a copy. And after loosing the old body only the brainchip is left from the former one. The brain itself is much more like the original one. So we should hope for a new body for the brain. But then we would have two Alitas. And I'm pretty sure Koshiro wouldn't kill the copy which is upgraded so much until now .

I see only one chance for a 'reunion': the brain was in coma and so has no new memories. Then they could transmit the new memories from the chip into the brain and then put the brain in the new body. But then Alita would be weaker because of the cell material! This would be a weak story in my eyes.

Since the story shows more and more how unimportant the shell of your mind is (brain or chip doesn't matter) I would prefer a good story when both Alits meet later. Probably in the core of Melzidek or who knows what ideas Koshiro has

It is possible that her brain and her body are linked. Afterall, she has the fata morgana, she has access to wherever her brain is.... A link is not out of the realm of possibility.

But the Fata Morgana came into the game very late. What happened with the brain-Alita all the time. But you are right. If the brain was in a coma until the time with the installed Fata Morgana and now they are linked...

But for me this would be a lame solution. I get more and more the same feelings like bonedaddy. That the story gets more and more about technical stuff and a war of the best nanomachines. The only strong and mentally developing character is sechs. I didn't like sechs so much. But he is with his 2 years much stronger than Alita after hundreds. Just imagine how strong (and then for sure wiser, too) sechs will be after this time!

Well, Melkizedec is a cluster of brains, in previus phases they say that all human brain are linked on quantum phonomena level, that means that the motion of subatomic particles in a brain's atom can influence the movement of the same in any other brain, in a superluminar speed communication. So basically brains are capable of subconscius telepaty, and Melkizedec is the "telepaty core" of menkind. Being Fata Morgana the quickest access way to Melkizedec and to the Round Table, probably Kishiro is going to surprise us stating that alita's brain and brainchip are communicating now, and a possible retrieve of original brain would find it completely aware of events from Last Order.

Actually, Sechs is the same age as Alita as far as fighting ability is concerned. She was programmed with Alita as the source, after all.

Hmm, as i remember they copied Alitas movements and reactions in as much as possible situations. So sechs got this data but not the original memories and real experience.

I'm pretty sure that Tuneds brainchips are not Alita's brainchips, if they were all of the tuneds would, in the beginning, be convinced to be Alita, and the, when truth is shown, Alita's rebel personality would have emerged and the tuneds would have start a mass rebellion It looks like that each tuned has his own personality, and only Sechs seems to have developed a deviant personality, kinda like Nova and Ido. As mbadi says brainchips are supposedo to randomly generate such deviance, that, in rare cases, turn tu be extreme geniality as for Nova and Vares. So tuneds' brainchips are more probably pure artificial intelligences, which have been trained with the records of 10 year of Alita's asses kicking.

Thats pretty much how i understood it too.
The Tuneds where most likely first programmed with a simple human mindset, simliar to a simple cerebral matrix based on that of normal humans, then they got all kind of helpfull informations and finaly all of Gallys experinces when she was a Tuned, plus those recorded since the motorball.

Those information could have been directly recorded from Gallys brain (which means they experinced it with all other senses too).

However i noticed one intresting thing about Sechs in issue 5.
That guntroll guy with his monkey said that a 50 meter tall robot would be a better enemy for him than Sechs and the bunnys.
Strangly the image Sechs got in her mind was that of the Martian King.

But the MK was purely a creation of Nova and only he and Gally ever saw it, while theire minds where fused together in Issue 9 of the original series.
Okay i guess it was just a sidejoke by Yukito.

I just checked, it's not available yet on the usual site, so i guess the haven't scanned yet, anyway the preview image is released days before UltraJump il published, i think.

About the Great Martian King in sechs' imagination i either don't think it's a memory from the Uroboros dream, i think it's just the standar 80's style dumb looking robot, and it's a kind of parody of the Mecha anime from time past Now that i remember there was an identical robor in a music videoclip of some years ago, and i'm pretty sure that there way a toy line from japan of that robot in the 80's.

I guess so, i'm not much into pop music, there where those guys on an ostil planed that revived this robot, and then they try to flee by thier flying saucer and the robot catch them and eat the saucer as a cheesburger.

I am used to Ignition Ones(They do the Hajime no Ippo scanlation) raws, often out one day before the release

Why can't this brainchip Alita now posesses and her real brain coexist later in one scull like those 3 in the scull of Mbadi? This would solve problems between this copy and real Alita in future.

And as far as I can understand, Kishiro's saying that in his world there's no Artificial I., no soul and no difference between living been and mashine. It's like everything that can think is alive - human, cyborg, tipherian, android, robot and even program.

Well, only one of Mbadi's is actually his own brain. The others once belonged to other people. Having two of your own brain...I imagine...would be difficult.

I consider that if Alita does get her brain back, and her ultimate goal is to become human again, she could with her own brain, as she intends to do with Lou.

Possibilities in almost every facet we explore.
