Kishiro is a genious. Period.

just readed the new releases (from 67 to 72) and I'm really impressed with how is this manga evolving. It's really awesome that there xsits some mangas like this one or Vagabond (the other series I'm truthly addicted to =P)

So cheers to all the translators and people making us possible to read this manga before it publishes in our countries, you are helping to make this mervellous work to mroe people, and that is great =D.

just wanted to say that =)

I daresay this is the greatest manga of all times.
It is really genial, while others (as, for example, Death Note), are simply waste of time disguised as masterpieces.

Yep. Kishiro is too smart not to pretend that he can think as a genius. This is what makes him greate.

I'll will not go to "Genius", but the mangaka sure is educated.
His knowledge of technology and history is surprising for an artist, and quite welcome I have to say.

Excuse me, but how do you know he likes music?
I don't have a clue.

Sergio, take a look at this :)

BAA Vol 1
Page 12 Upper right. "Chemical Youth" is a song off Queensryche's "Rage for Order" album.

Page 83 The poster in the back of the bottom pannel reads "Don't ever trust the needle when it cries your name." This is almost directly from the Queensryche song "The Needle Lies", off their "Operation Mindcrime" album.

BAA Vol 2
Page 63 In the upper right, the van pulls up to a building marked "Factory Front 242". Front 242 is a Belgian industrial/synthesizer band.

Page 162 As Vector is reading through the newsprint, he sees that thefight took place near "Ammonia Avenue". This is the title to an Alan Parsons Project song.

BAA Vol 3
Page 127 Max C points out: Jashugan wears a pair of sun glasses with Borghesia on them. They were an "electronic body music" group from Slovenia back in the 80's.

Page 166 One of the ads in the upper panel is for "Kishiro Tile". Who it's talking about should be obvious. Also, in the original manga, there's a word baloon covering up part of a word ending "LTURA". I'll bet this is a reference to the Brazillian band Sepultura.

Vol 4
Page 12-13 In the original manga, in big bold letters, there are the words "Scorpions", "Megadeth", and "Jedi" written on the side walls of the track. I mean, even in the right fonts!

Page 86 The aprentice in the foreground in the middle panel has a Queensryche Tri-Ryche on his jacket. Is that supposed to be a variation on the cover of "Rage for Order"?

126 In the original manga, Ed's having a Kraftwerk beer to drink.

Vol 7
69 "Radio KAOS" is the name of a concept album by Roger Waters, formerly of Pink Floyd. The plot revolves around a boy who, interestingly, is able to perceive radio waves.

70 In the original manga, Kaos performs "Inside Looking Out" by The Alan Parsons Project. The song is from the album "Gaudi", dedicated to the artist of the same name who died before his magnum opus--the Sagrada Familia Cathedral--could be completed.

Vol 8
96That "ELP" thing looks like the logo for Emerson, Lake and Palmer.

Ashen Victor
page 25 "90125" is an album title by Yes.

You can find the most of them in here.
http://www.nick15.com/kudos.html

And one thing that Kudos list has not mentioned yet, Phase 69. Look at Sechs shoe, Aces High live to fly. From the Iron Maiden song Aces High.

And I bet their are more things to find!

Have also read an interview with Yukito, that he has said that Queensrÿche(with metal dots to be correct) is his favorite band.

Some of those are quite farfetched, but yeah, he definitly have some musical
culture...

If you look at the authors info on the official site (http://www.yukito.com), his brother seems a little more into music than him, but that doesn't mean anything I guess.
