I start guessing it will be another pointless flashback episode. The flashback will be Zazie's and there also be a plot revealing conversation between Alita and Zazie.

Elf and zwolf were moking them, because the tension of their discussion.
Zazi may have some interesting thing to say, though, especially the reason she's there. I'm actually very surprised to see her there, since she was very devoted to her job as Limeila bodyguard.

Back on topic, I suppose that next chapter will be a continuation of 76, focusing on the motivation of the others characters. I hope we see the begining of some action soon, though. Cat-Gally seems a little more hot blooded than "former Gally", thing should move a little faster now. I hope.

The fist-ship looks cool, but whats up with the nose ship? freaky freaky out there in space...
little bit too freaky if you ask me. Since when does GLO have to grandstand like this? After all its a seinen, not a shonen. And it was cool without it, too. I'll put my hopes on the mars arc that there will be some more subtly scenes.

Those ships looks like a tribute to Cpt. Harlock and Space Battleship Yamato, to me, does anyone remember those old masterworks from Leiji Matsumoto?

Two interesting ships, I daresay.
The first ships's nose made me think of a big cock, then the mask below confirmed my first impression.

To be honest, I kinda like it. Though I will admit it does seem to be a bit of a detour from the darker stuff of before. It's kind of, I dunno, refreshing? New?

I will also admit I hope he returns to the darker, more 'subtly' as you put it, stuff at some point. It's kinda what got my hooked on gunnm in the first place.

Well i guess most of us hope that after they got Earths independence Gally will travel to Mars's surface, where all following fights become more decent and less bombastic (being more towards skillfull attacks than powerfull ones).

Reminds me, why didn't we had any good conversation between Gally and Sechs anymore since volume 1? I finaly want to see those two to have some serious talk again, maybe to reflect how much happend in the short time they are away from Earth.
