For those who have read the latest scan translations. What do you think Trnidad refered as The sword of damocles?? I don't mean the legend itself, but what could that be named like that in alita' s timeline?
I re-read all the last order volumes but cant find anything that would make me guess what it can be.

The most far fetched theory I could guess it that this weapon is one of the former panzer kunst, like hilda or erika. Or perhaps one of the former Tiphares geniuses?
And what will supernova do thit the head of Tzykrow? on mars?

I didnt get this well, the semifinal will take place on the Onion Frame, and the Finals in Mars, is that right?????

I'm not going to re-read the first series of Alita, but if my memory isn't wrong, I suspect he's gonna alter tzykrow in the same way as he did with Makaku, Zapan (by giving him Alita's old berzerker body, I think), Den and Alita.

The fact that Nova is going to mars might indicate that he's probably investigating on Alita's past life, trying to find her weak spots. Or maybe looking to hire some of Tzykrow's former comrades (hopefully more badass and less spineless than this ugh-thing).

Remember, he isn't really much into direct physical violence but enjoys a lot messing with other's heads, using as an excuse his own theories on karma.

As for the location of finals, I don't think that they would be held in Mars.

In one of the precedent GLO volumes, the political situation on Mars has been described as pretty conflictual, with different factions vying for power and warring each other, with Ladder, Jove and Venus financing in secret one or another of these factions.

It would be like holding next Olympics within Beirut or the Gaza Strip.

So I suppose that ZOTT would continue in the same location as before or will be held in another Mbadi-controlled location (maybe placed in another of the other Lagrangian points in the Earth-Moon system.)

One thing that is sure is that Alita has had always in mind that her next objective, after winning the ZOTT (and all that follows: giving freedom to Zalem and Scrapyard, giving a body to Lou's brain..), is to go back to Mars to recover fully all her memories.

Well, if I had to venture a guess, I would say that the Sword of Damocles refers to the superstructure surrounding the earth. Mbadi most likely intends to drop the Onion Dome and its components onto the earth thereby removing the dangerous elements that have gathered that year. The Sword of Damocles reference would be appropriate because the combatants are unaware of the precarious situation which they occupy in the space station.

Was browsing Wikipedia when I ran across a summery of the movie 'Escape From L.A.'

May be unrelated but seeing as how most, if not all combatants are cyborgs and whatnot it could prove disastrous for our heroes, or as others have been saying destroy everything and everyone in the tournament and super structure.

hyatt may have a point; perhaps what Mbadi wants is to get rid of Tiphares and the Scrapyard in one move. He may drop the space tower slightly just to make Tiphares crash on the surface, Killing everything down there, that may include the winners of the Zott.

It was Abaddon, not Sword of Damocles

i think that "Sword of Democless" will be a change of ruling system..

Now they (Ledder) are restricted by this ZOT tournament, and all other laws that they made.

"Sword .." may change some laws (maybe they will "un-ban" children and "ban" immortality) and will allow to do whatever Ledder wishes..

I think it also can mean a disbanding Ledder and making each planet very individual.. so it will lead to war and chaos but it may help to rid of "dengerus" elements like Alita and Zekka.

Other thing is about nano-machines. With Dr. Warez incident there was ban held on advenced nano-technology weapons.

And other thing i thought is shuting down Melchizedek (and his future making ability) but this would be insane

I like the idea of resurecting Tsai powers to "bad-ass" status
He would be whacked by Cerulla and reduced to dust. Also maybe Nova simply want to resurect panzerkunst with aid of Alitas data and Tsai's fighting skillss

With all his knowledge Nova can build an army of Tzykrows. Furthermore, I think he will improve his body (being inspired by Alita's new body) allowing Tsai to use the same amount of power as she.

supernova can't replicate alitas new body, she the wormhole power of the jupiter station, basicly the most advanced next generation fighter from jupiter. Nova doesnt have the resources to replicate that.

Never heard a "real" russian guy, so I don't really know. Can't be worse than french for sure.

Well. If you want to imitate light accent try to do this:
1) V,W → W (since there's no difference between them in russian we say what sounds opposite from ours)
2) Th → sometimes S,Z,T (thing → sing, that → zet, thousand → tousand)
3) R → smth similar to "pirate R" ("Ahrrh~ Wherhe is my bottle of Rhome?")
4) Sh → russian Sh (hardned) with i, u, o; russian Shch (it's one letter) wit a, e, oo, ee.
5) All vowels are shorter 1.5 times.
6) No shua-vowels.
7) No pace in frase.
8) Time mistakes, word missing sometimes.
9) No articles when you need them. Prefere "the"
10) words misuse (really → wery, etc)
11) mispronounciation of some rare word etc.

If you want to imitate hard accent do this:

Well.
His accent in english is not that bad, and it's not so different from what french do. I had no real problems understanding him, lol.
