Could someone rehost them? That site is completely unuseable to me. The downloads stutter along at 20kbps and then shut down after a while.

Well, as far as I know, kanji is exactly the Chinese ideography.
The difference is that neither hiragana nor katakana are used in Chinese.
Anyway, that is theory. I am unable to read a simple character.
