each new chapter of Last Order feels like a first shot of heroin after you got back from a rehab. so... when?

I usually skip phases until a volume is released, chapters are not enough.
So, WHEN WILL V13 BE RELEASED?

We'll be seeing the cover for vol.13 any moment now. Can't wait for that! I wonder if Olympe will be on the cover?

I guess because she plays a big role in vol.13...Sechs got a cover when he took center stage in vol. 5, and Caerula got two covers.

Nah, Olympe was a mere trophy there. I'd say Zekka and the karateka are more likely. Homme du feu in the background maybe.

We may have more details when Yukito Kishiro updates it on his website. He usually comment his covers a little, and even though he's mostly talking on a technical point of view, i'm sure he'll tell us the reason of his choice if he considers it important.
sad part being he seems to use Babelfish on the eglish site, so it may be difficult to understand anything. Unless we translate directly from the japanese.

Zekka's personality is completely that of a rock star type with a huge ego. Zekka knows he's famous, is a show off, and calculates his image to appear as cool as possible. He's got swagger, style, and a take-orders from no one attitude. Plus his eyes look like rockstar sunglasses.

So far, the cover art has always fit with the chapters included in the volume but... as awesome as vol. 13's cover is, it doesn't make sense at all story-wise. Unless there were some sort of battle of the bands duel in the next ZOTT round *sarcasm*

That's an extremely pedantic thing to think... Zekka's personality has never been shown? It's been on display since the his insane first appearance, where he makes an explosive entrance on a jet-powered machine, ramming down a squad of soldiers without batting an eye and just oozing machismo and moxie. Zekka is practically a "rockstar" in the space karate scene, he's the strongest and coolest, and his personality is flamboyant in a way. I think this depiction suits him perfectly, and I'm glad Kishiro aint above doing stuff like this.

It seems you don't speak English. If you did, you wouldn't try to describe Zekka's personality to me.

As to rockstars, there are the ones who look aggresive, but I've never known about they assaulting people on the streets in real life. Actually, many of them (no matter what you think) are far from being police matter.

So you can't make this connection because real-life rockstars don't act like comic book characters and go around kicking people in the face? Spergin'.
