Also, my sympathy for Sechs grown a lot. I thought his moves during the fight were just random and I was surprised when it came out that it were parts of his strategy to get Zekka's power

I don't think that it was so much he was trying to steal Zekka's power. His plan only went as far as getting Zekka to use his full power. What he did after that was a snap decision.

Sechs grows more and more to be the "new Alita" here. And I liked the drawings a LOT, really. GLO's artwork is always very sharp and detailed, so this was a nice and very effective change of style, perfectly glued together with the story.

AR-6 aka Sechs is an Alita Replica, but was made with new functions. (AR-2 = no human emotions, AR-10 had wings, AR-11/Elf and AR-12/Zwölf worked together) Sechs function was that he/she was made stronger. And if AR-series was a exactly clones of Alita, they would have the memory from Alitas past.

alita got a brain chip for weeks now, and she is still uncovering panzer kunst skillz (like stated when saving xzazi)

the chip is supposed to be a replica of the brain of zalem's young adults, but since alita's karma is so strong (as noticed by nova a looooooong time ago, back in the original series), and since arthur himself (at least, his digitalized version) knows all about karma flows and even zwangiss has a karmic after image inside the network... :

Alita is The Hero, and as such is endorsed by Destiny/Karma (aka Kishiro) to accomplish her Fate (aka Saving The World)

so she got new moves and memories updates from time to time, when her life is threatened and all the karmic flows are converging to her. sort of like her memories are stored in the karmic flow, like nova is storing himself in nano-vibes

the GR-series, are duplicates from her battle records. how the hell could they have the karmic link ? but sechs, by his/her(/its ?) own force of will is creating his very own destiny too... as represented in the "soul drowning in cold water" page : he has a soul and a will of his own. and i don't see many things in common with alita's behaviour or soul. he has his own line of moves, some panzer kunst but will never unlock the secrets alita didn't recalled by the end of the original series.

Sechs may have started as being an imperfect copy of Alita, but since the AR-Series brain chip have the same features as a normal human brain, the AR clones have started to develop their own personality and emotions diverging more and more from the original. Sechs is just a baby, two years old, (Alita and Zekka on the other hand, may have over a century of experience) but he can learn as fas as any growing baby. But it feels a bit unreal that he could take the same punch that trashed Anomaly and just eat it! Sechs can't be tougher than Anomaly and is just a bit more smart =P

By the way, the bonus altered page was very funny! =)

Thanks a lot for all the info! I'm a big fan of the series, but I need to read more the first part, because some things like the AR series, and the details about Thipares and the factory government are still very confusing to me.
