ehhhhh.... life sucks..
i broke up with my girlfriend, and can't get over with it.
One Manga is going down. Only forums will remain.
BAALO is on hiatus..

gotlurk website has been terminated according to the IRC channel.
onemanga is shutting down, but i don't think their sister site 1000manga is.

"The #lurk server was terminated due to late payment. We will find another server and relaunch #lurk in about a month's time. All donators will have their ftp access restored in due time. In the long run this will probably be beneficial to #lurk as we can purchase a cheaper and newer server. If you have any server hosting recommendations pls fwd them to stalynx@yahoo.com. Don't worry lurkers, #lurk will be back.

Man, I remember the days when I had to find imported manga, spend hours printing out translation scripts, then reading the scripts whilst looking at the different manga panels and trying not to lose my place between the translation and the action. Thank goodness for high speed internet and larger hard drives. Oh, and torrents, and file hosters. And plenty of alternative sites to OneMnaga. If you're like me and you need your One Piece fix, I use
http://mangastream.com/. But unfortunately they don't have the massive archive of OneManga. But they are pretty quick to get up scanlations before anyone else.

Indeed! They even have Battle Angel Alita - LAst Order up to volume 13. "Coincidentaly", it's the same edition released by crazy&Ripper.
