I would suggest changing the subtitle to the user's corner from "otaku" to "anime fans". Sometime in the 90's some dumb person, probably in the US (probably actually an otaku) got it into his head that it meant "a connoisseur of all things anime and manga". Clueless westerners have been using it to describe themselves ever since, probably to the great amusement of the Japanese.

I just dislike this word.

I think, it would be much better to remove the description at all - the name of the subforum speaks for itself.
