Yukito is showing on his website that Last Order volumes will be edited in a new version (probably edited by Kodansha).
Would be interesting to see if there is some new sketched scenes or something in this one!

Oh my.
The cover is awesome, but she looks a lot different facially from how she looked in volumes 1 and 2. And she also has bigger eyes.

Ten years in the life of an artist means a lot of changes and improvements, you know.

Just came out too (22 July). He seems to be busy these days. Here is the Amazon JP page:
http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/switch-langu ... uage=en_JP
The page count is 336 vs. 198 in the original and the size also looks larger. I think there is some consolidation going on here.

Kodansha, indeed. Is it standard for Japanese publishers to change the artists' configuration all the time? We have already had (up to now) three different editions of Hyper Future Vision. That suggests a sort of meanness: if your collection is not complete, you will have to everything again in order to have an entire one. For God's sake!

I guess that's Sergio's favorite?
BTW there is a set of the original 9 tankobon on ebay right now if anyone is interested. I've been keeping an eye on them and the seller has been unable to move them for the past few weeks.

Exactly! Thus, they have already published the same thing thrice.
And now it seems Kodansha is starting to dance the same waltz with Last Order.

No way!
Believe me, I am a conservative man. I have only the first edition in English.
As to Last Order, I do intend to have the first edition, but only.

Strange, but the cover is not yet available in Yukito's page.

I disagree. Edit: I don't see any improvement /edit. In HFV you can see the love that went into almost every drawing of gally. LO started off OK but after the first couple of volumes she's acquired a "meh, whatever" kind of look. He's not drawing her with any passion anymore.

Thanks for the info!
I don't like the white background in particular. GLO is not Bleach

As for the art, I'll wait for a bigger sized picture. Cause lately (like, some magazin covers) his art seemd to be changing again - the crayon-style, that is. A turn for the better again (imo), no more overused clean photoshop style, back to the dirty stuff. Anyway, I'll wait.

that cover is a little weird. it's like he tried to emulate "old" gally from the begining of the original story, with his current level of skill. it's very weird.that said I've been finding all mr Kishiro's colour work weird recently. dunno.

Interesting to know, but let's be honest: The first edition covers were better.

Vol. 3 dropping on the 23rd!
According to Yukito's blog the next cover should be Zazie.

How do you know? I haven't been able to find the covers in Yukito's page. Nothing has been posted there since volume 16's one.

None of the reissue covers (except for the Complete Edition) have been posted in the Yukitopia gallery.

I was wrong, Caerula is on the 4th cover released 10/21. Zazie is probably coming in a later volume.

YK's Japanese gallery has been updated with the LONE covers, although they are posted in reverse order:

They aren't! Traditionally, the last cover to be included is the first to be seen.

They were earlier when I noticed. I think Tsutomu also reads this forum!

Who is Tsutomu?
Anyway, were I an author or a publisher, I would certainly keep an eye on a forum dedicated to something I write/publish.
