Theories anyone?

Ok I have created this topic with so that we could share the weirdest theories we've had about Glo's storyline, but I soon realised that the topic may be limited and that maybe I am the only one with a weird theory out there so i'll start.
So let's go for this little theory i have been itching to share but been too ashamed to write.
So this theory is quite old and it seems Kishiro is not moving that way obviously. Don't you think There have been too many blonds lately?
So do you remember back in volume seven with the starship Cult? that blonde chick Mischa, didn't you find weird the fact that she appeared as a fighter? When I reread the volume I noticed that her haircut matched that of the actual to whophon, when he was called Moon Child. What if she was the actual wophon?
What does it matter will you ask? well not much at the moment, I thought she may make a come back and cause chaos during the finals. That was until Olympe appeared and then I thought What If Mischa was the real whophon and a robot too?
A robot with the ability to tamper with human minds and to awaken their untapped abilities, hypnosis etc (eg: the two fake whophons and jack spingfoot)
So what if Mischa and Olympe were female robots (is the correct term gynoids?)sent by an unknown power to destabilize the universal balance by preying on the weaker minds? And the tournament was the perfect opportunity to approach and dispose of M'badi, who was impervious to mind tampering.
So that any of the two could try to have a shot at M'badi during the tournament, Whophon was the outlaw whose role was to focus suspicions, while Olympe as the nanny of the venusian genetically engineered monster Ygrec could send it on a rampage when the time came.
What about Caelula will you ask me?she is a blond too! Well I think Kishiro made her a blond to mislead the reader.
However, this theory is quite old and the recent developments seem to indicate that Kishiro doesnot seem to have followed that path.
What do you think about it? this is my weirdest theory ever, I have one or two others more conventionnal I'd like to share but that will be for another time.

Let's correct the spelling, friends. The female adjective, as well as the female noun is blonde. Remember that it is originally French.

3 buxom blonde women, one who was in a cult (and you know what those cult leaders tend to do with their female followers), one who was a love doll, and one who used to go through men before settling down with 1,000+ year old Type-V mutant.

It seems that we are missing some brunettes and green haired women.

Back to the OP: you've been getting some ribbing here, but if you feel better after having gotten this off your chest, that's good! I've also found out that putting thoughts down instead of keeping them bouncing around in my head, some for years, is very helpful.

I said that was my weirdest theory! it did make sense at the time as I thought the blonde commando might be sent by some Martian party to cause chaos.

Now I never said that this was my only theory.
Here's another one: I thought the fight between Zekka and Alita would end in a draw, and that somehow toji would survive or even be the last man standing.
if Alita wins she would entrust him with the destiny of the earth, and if he wins he will grant her his protection and make her a person of interest like an official representative or an ambassador so that even M'badi can't touch her.

Mbadi still had Limeira's father killed even though he later told her that he supports the Mars Kingdom Parliament, so someone like an ambassador isn't out of his reach.

What if Alita became LADDER chairman?

It's true that M'badi had Limeila's father killed but even though he was a head of state Mars is a minor power, which was banned from Ladder after the war, moreover it has no support. Except for M'badi on the particular matter of the space port.
maybe Limeila's father was voicing opinions which endangered the stability of the solar system, so that M'badi had to suppress him for the sake of balance. He must have been on everyone's hit list anyway, so if his positions made it impossible to protect him without causing a war, he made the choice to kill a man to save peace.


As for Alita becoming Earth's Ladder chairwoman, that 's what I thought about when I used the word ambassador, however as I was not sure that the members of the ladder could travel wherever they pleased (let alone take part in a civil war on a whim). I purposefully used the word ambassador as it was less specific. But any kind of representative would be ok. With the amount of power she now possesses and the fame gained by taking part to the Zott, whatever the outcome, Alita will be untouchable.
As a matter of Fact, M'badi might even Send Alita to Mars so that she gets killed "accidentally"in the war, as he will have his hands tied.
After all, sending someone to the battlefield is good way to kill them without having to dirty your hands.
He may even send her after Afro Nova, after realising that he has set loose an evil far greater than he suspected, or as part of a plan where Afro Nova is to take her out.

The translation I'm going off of (Viz) specifically states that LADDER supports the Mars Kingdom Parliament, which is sanctioned by a treaty; the Neo-Third Reich Division is the rogue faction that is not being supported by a specific power.

this is true. Until the space port was taken by the Neo third reich, the ladder had not sent any help to the Martian parliament. As it had its hands tied because two member states of the council are each backing one of the other rebel parties. So virtually the support of the ladder is non existant
Imagine the following situation, A country without representives in the UN.this country is the place where two nations are having a war by proxy, by supporting rebel factions that both seek power. If both these nations are part of the security council, they can(and will if need be) veto any decision to intervene on the soil of their private war.
So even if the minor country is recognized by the UN no help will ever come.
So in that situation The leader of such a country if he is not puppet, may seek for a way to stop this situation.
Either by exposing the situation to the people, and so create a diplomatic crisis that may cause a full scale war between the two superpowers. So M'badi may not have had the choice, he had to kill the king to contain the conflict between the two superpowers, for the sake of balance.
Or by trying to develop new forbidden weapons, based on Nano technology for instance. If that was the case the conflict would soon escalate and trigger the hostilities.
So killing one man may have been the only way to prevent a new war of the same scale as the terraforming war.

Interesting - this would be a good twist on the messy situation on Mars.

As you said Ladder support the Martian council, however it cannot do otherwise, first because it has the legitimacy to rule the planet and Ladder must remain neutral. second because if any of the other rebels should win it would result in an awful mess.
If the any of the superpowers managed to assume power thanks to its puppet faction it would enlarge its influence as much (why not let it enter the ladder council? thus obtaining the majority, and turning every decision in favour of the mother country? thus the solar system would be under the sway of one of the superpowers) and the other might just start a war in retaliation.
As for the new third reich, can you really think of any one who would ally with a group whose goal is to have a nazi rule over the universe.

Now if the King was to try to seek support from one of the groups it would disrupt the balance, as well as the creation of a new weapon most likely nano machine based.( what if the spontaneous combustions were just field tests for an anti mathuzelise weapon?)
But there is still one group we did not talk about and which may be as powerful as any of the aforesaid factions. The space karateka who are based on Mars and stay neutral.
If the space Karateka entered the fray, things would sure get more complicated as they have practitioners all over the solar system, and each Karateka we have seen is a weapon of mass destruction.
So that may be why the King was killed.

Many groups would, you may believe that.

Now that I think about it, you are right, especially in those parts of the world that were spared from the war And that would be all the more true in the world of Glo as WWII happened a very long time ago and as many of the records were destroyed in the cataclysm, we don't know what image of the war was passed on.

Moreover,we don't know what changes the nazi doctrine has undergone. Something like only the those whose ancestors were the first to tread the martian soil deserve to live and rule over the rest of the human race.As you can't really trace back your ancestors to this or that country, as the population was pretty much gathered in a single place(Starcity) at a certain period.
(In Europe you would alienate the support of 80% of the population, before you can actually finish the sentence announcing the alliance, and additional 15% would soon follow leaving only the brain dead idiots and the real nazis, I was thinking as a European I guess).

The situation with worse in Brazil. This is a multiracial, multinational and multicultural country. Our racial blending is probably unique.
Nevertheless, we do have neo-Nazi groups here. The irony is that I have seem members in such groups who are results of six or even more different races. Obviously, the imbeciles would be the first one to be "purified" if such a stupid régime would exist in Brazil, for God's sake. As to me, I would be exterminated even before the "new order" took possession.

The same thing here, in Russia.

Due to our huge territory we have a lot of different religions:
from the most popular world religions like Catholicy (very few), orthodoxal Christianity/Russian Christianity (about 75% - the most of all), Islam (about 15%), Buddhism (about 5%), Judaism, and not to count a lot of paganistic religions of small nationalities (mostly Asian);
and nationalities (more than 500):
from Caucasian (European), Caucasian (inhbitats of Caucasian mountains - nothing like European types at all, also they're muslims and quite uncivilized), Nords (like people of Finnish/Sweden/Norway descent), and even people of purely European descent like Germans, French, Greek, and like that to clearly Asian nations, which look very similar to Chinese/Japanese people.

Also, we have a lot of jews and different jewish mixins. What to say, a lot of people take me for a jew, while I'm not one. Even the real jews take me for a jew (maybe, this will help me in business someday ).

But still, there are lots of neo-nazi organizations, which even act frequently - they just kill people they find inferior. Not to mention, that their members are cross-national mixes either.

And all these organizations act in a country, which has defeated the true nazis during the WW2. What a fucken shame.

Sometimes I am forced to wonder if the apocalypse would not be welcome.
