No idea if this goes here or in the other more general section, but here goes nothing...

There of course is no substitute for the real deal, but this girl here is undeniably alike. Puckered (octopus) lips, bob-cut hairdo, and some sort of suit that resembles the earlier imaginos look. Besides being some form of synthetic organism and a martial artist.

The video is awesome in general, the fights aren't as fantastic as in Gunnm, but still very nice.

I don't know about you guys, but I loved the resemblance to Alita, it was nice seeing the possible look she could have in a big budget 3D CGI production.

And you are right. It is clearly a "transcription" of Alita - in many concepts, I daresay.
Even the way she moves remits to Alita.
At the beginning, it is impossible not to remember the beginning of GLO 01.
The end is obviously remitting to Olympe's death - the roses after the shot.
Anyway, great! I did like it!

it's entertaining, though. If cameron's take manage to at least look like that I'd be very happy

Very cool; if I squinted a bit I could almost make myself believe it is the year 2020 and I am watching Cameron's Alita blu-ray on my laptop.
