And so, after several years we finally, finally, FINALLY get back to my # 1 favorite character in the Gunnmiverse! The chapter couldn't have better as far as I'm concerned.

I also liked how it got some of the spirit of the original manga. Moreso than the rest of the chapters in Last Order.

LO 111 and 112 need to be translated. This is going to be an awesome year. :3

This is actually more puzzling to me than some of the prior chapters because it undoes what was thought since LO Vol. 1.

1. If you are going to translate anything, I beg you to start from phase 111 for obvious reasons.

what about the top right of page 2 ? is it "11 months ago" like i guessed ?

on vol1, we learn that it's been a year since GIB was destroyed, and the zott + training took a couple months more.

so it could be that, GR are in standalone mode, and fight each other before Nova finds them, and goes to zalem.

Sergio, that can be anyone else than 11,12 or one of the hunted ones of 6. It is said that 6 (in vol. 1) killed 7 of the GRs remaining since GIB is gone, so all of them from 1-5 and 9, 'cause number 10 has been killed by Gally. Moreover, Gally says that she has left Fogia for a year already but that is for sure less time she has been on Zalem. When she left Fogia she did other stuffs in the meantime. I mean, she left Fogia (Figure) at the beginning of vol. 7. Then all the story with Chaos/Den, plus Granit inn. and so on...

It's a swordfish Sergio.

About the new phase well, Sechs was always a bit masculine unlike the other GRs.

weird story transition. considering what he already know about the clones, this arc is bound to have a very bad end.

I don't think so , we know they where hunt down by 6 but we don't know which clone is this , very luckily we are going to have an intresting story that will make Figure four and Ido . I'm really looking foword for the next , more than when I was waiting for ZOTT

Interesting chapter. Finaly we get some insight on what Figure Four was up to.

Nice to finaly see the wastelands again too. Good old GUNNM nostalgia.

Also him being able to survive an ambush by a Tuned is pretty awesome.

Big question now, who are these Tuneds?
Elf and Zwoelf before they started to become sisters or maybe when they allready were like sisters and just playing tricks on Figure? One of the doomed 7 being hunted by Sechs? Or maybe to others who killed each other.
But then again as some said Nova pointed out that it was Sechs alone who killed all others except Elf and Zwoelf and neither of the two corrected him despite teasing and insulting Sechs at every opportunity.

I kind of hope it's Sechs, since this would give her finaly a backstory chapter, while also showing her original form a bit more and showing what the other Tuneds were like before Sechs killed them.

Cute detail. The cybernetic eye on the Tuned gun is closed complete with eyelid shape when Figure holds it. Also i wonder if the money his old man gave him were Bottle Caps? Poor Barjack soldier. Must have been a horror seeing everything melt away from a giant micro wave attack like that.

By the way i noticed one little detail in the last page. Maybe it's part of the cloak, but for that it looks too symetric as opposed to the jagged cloak. This looks more like one of Sechs titan blades. Maybe an early version before being put in the long staff form?

The white jagged cloak is also more Sechs style.

In the end, who ever these Tuneds are i hope Yukito doesn't pull a sucker punch on us and kills Figure here. I mean he was the only one not in Volume 14, so the danger is right there.

Personaly i hope it plays out like this: It's Sechs hunting down another Tuned, who together with Figure escapes. Then when they feel safe, she betrays him and tries to kill him, reveals that Gally is dead and turns out to be a total dick about it. Figure fights her but is overpowered, until Sechs shows up and kills her. She doesn't kills him and even tells him that Gally is not dead (since Sechs wants to kill her so, in her eyes, she simply can't be dead yet) before leaving. Causing Figure to go back and wait for Gally's return until he get's news of the ZOTT.

Oh and maybe this is the origin of why Sechs actualy had those metal plates on her boots, because of imitating Figure.

Also maybe he can go full circle and the fight between the Tuned and Sechs ends with this scene?

As you mentioned it, that's totally the titan blade we see in the last picture which also totally fits the second picture you put coming from GLO vol. 1.
But you should remember that for everyone on earth, Gally is really dead!! Being exploded by Nova! No one knows for now that she has been sort of resurrected by him on Zalem!

I disagree. Gally was killed in the wastelands, so there aren't witnesses of her death. People on The Scrapyard initially considered her as disappeared, but later the ZOTT was broadcast and everyone knew where she was.

I know, the idea was rather that Sechs would doubt Gally being dead. After all Sechs is both somewhat knuckleheaded, so telling her the person she hates and wants to kill is allready dead, would simply cause her to doubt it. Therefor telling Figure with fully beliving it that Gally is still alive.

Also considering the Tuned telling figure she is dead, well that was just an idea on how one could make her being mean or sadistic. But since she is a copy of Gally, Figure could potentialy belive it.

But then again maybe Yukito makes her a nice person and Sechs killing her will affect Figure.

All is open, i was just toying with ideas.

We all know that nobody knew she died. Nobody questioned that and we know the story. She was just MIA for the rest of earth. This chapter starts with Figure Four wondering what happend to her.

Even though it's totally normal for Zechs to not being the talkative kind of person, I find it weird that she could meet Fogia and not mention it later, especially if the guy really mistook her for Gally at this point. it's the kind of anecdote that would have entered the conversation once, if only as a joke or a tease from Zechs.
it's just weird. I wonder how it will evolve from there. especially since we also know Ido is probably going to appear again too.

Seriously, at least read the previous posts... We are quite a lot thinking that the one Figure is mistakening for Gally IS NOT Zechs. But the one at the end purchasing them, IT IS Zechs.
