In short, Yukito opted for an alternative name for the supercomputer, once Jupiter in Japanese would be Mokusei. In English, to repeat the name would be redundant, so he opted for an alternative name as well. In English, Jupiter is a god, but also (or because of that) a planet. Zeus is the same god, but without the possibility of confusion.
