Hm, it seems we have some free time now that the scanlation got taken from us :-/ So why not try to talk a little.

About Figure, I honestly always thought there is more to him. He survived the onslaught of the Bar Jack unscratched (back in vol. 6), also this "mere human" could fight on par with cyborgs and create a Hertza Haeon-like attack. Maybe he was another Nova experiment with self-repair-nanites, I thought. Or at least a perfectly normal human with a pure soul, who lives in a perfect (maybe idealistic) small fishing village in touch with nature. Kind of the yang to Alita's yin.
However, now he has lost his touch of invulnerability and, being a cyborg now, also lost his connection to pureness and nature. Do you think this is just the normal way things happen in GLO (people lose limbs all the time, normally it's no big deal) or will it cause more pain and growth for Alita that he (ultimately because of her going on her last mission) lost this "touch of nature".

Also I wonder if they'll meet sometime soon. Alita has to go to Mars eventually ("Cohagen, give these people air!") but will she do so without seeing Figure again? Or would she, after seeing him, part yet again?

It is fun to see Figure, the end of BAA Angel of Death stands out to me as one of the most amazing stories I have ever read, it affected me so much (I know that sounds crazy, but it was sooo good, so cinematic (although we'll only see it in an HBO series if we are lucky at this point.)

As Lost Order went rip roaring along, Figure's mistreatment really stood out to me, I accept Gally as a girl of her word and that she and Figure had "true love". I felt like YK was a bit out of order neglecting him like that.

Nice to see that he apparently felt the same way, it seems reasonable that at least one tonkuban (2? like the Vampire side bar?!!) is going to be about him.

I think that he'll catch up to Gally, although I doubt something as droll as him getting a berserker body...blah blah blah is in the cards.

We do have the foresight of the original ending where he ran into Koyomi. I would bet that he will at least bump into her, watch the ZOTT, contact Chaos...attract the attention of Nova in Tiphares? (who for the foreseeable future is a "good guy" balanced against his all the way full on bad guy double Space-Nova on mars.)

I feel like this could go on for a while before we get back to the events right after the ZOTT.

I miss the bunnies though...
