Hehe, relax, its not THAT much.
I have a 1/2 height case the width of the 2 bigger ones filled with regular dvd's.
Then about the same space for other figurines / movie figures / game extra's / misc stuff.
Have a nice Alien wall plaque and LOTR Frodo scabbard for instance.
What can i say...i collect.
Not as much as i used to though.

90% of my collection is Evangelion, which you can see here:
http://evavirtualmuseum.weebly.com/
I set this up 1) to display it and 2) to avoid buying duplicates again as it happened several times

Unlike Ripper I don't have the space to put it all up. It's a decent size collection but I know of 2 other people with bigger Eva collections.
I have some other manga such as Gunnm, Slam Dunk, School Rumble, a bunch of Shirow's art books, and started collecting production artwork last year (cels, drawings). But pretty much all other anime purchasing has stopped to prioritize Eva. The problem with collecting that series is that it keeps doing tie-ins with other companies and products and is coming out with so much stuff all the time that I would need some serious $$$ to even try to stay on top of it. Also there's so much stuff out there that I decided to focus on certain product that I like and some of the older goods that were released in the late '90s during the TV and first 2 movie runs.

-comes back out of lurk mode-
*processing... two compatible figures detected !*
I don't have a fancy shot of all of my stuffs, but I do have a shot of my figures ( sans the few I bought after that pic, before I basically stopped buying figures... Wich would be 2 figmas,
BLRS Strength and
Miku Append Version, Native Creators "
Trunk Girl", bakemonogatari's
Hachikuji Mayoi,
Princess Bitch,
ika musume and
Strength movie version )
beware though, the image is huge ! <- click
edit: actually... the other compatible fig isn't even on the pic, also some other figures are missing on the shot as well... its likely another 2-3 nendoroids and another 2 figures, one which would be the lil girl with purple hair and white/black dress and ribbons.,. just proves it was good I stopped collecting more. Lol

Great EVA collection AR-99, just WOW.
Are all the figurines still sealed in their displays or have you assembled them?
There are 2 types of collectors.
One keeps it sealed, the other unpacks and displays.
That EVA-01 from 2004 looks real good (the one with the knife holding)
And yes collecting is an expensive hobby, but then again most hobby's are...
My collecting died a little too since my paycheck isn't that great.
You have to make choices, but you want them all the same.
And Squirrelsquid has a great (naughty) collection also.
I can actually see more figurines you have that i have also. (bottom right huge image, the airplane winged girl with kitty)
The image i posted doesn't include quite a few others.
Like Bome put out some really awesome, but still very affordable figurines.
They are awesome.
BTW top right, naked chick next to chair, with strawberry in mouth

~~~~
Sauce?
Also the kitty girl on the bed/cushion is awesome
Ah yea, the girl with airplane wings - it's my favorite character from Excel Saga. She's an Android, and a very... umm... how you say it... malfunctionous? She's holding "Menchi" ( if I recall that name correctly), even if it looks like a cat, it's a dog. And during the course of the series always held dear as an emergency food supply... such an awesome and whack show <3 I have to agree on Bome. They have some cheap but good looking figures. Strawberry girl is also from Native Creators. You can see most of em
here. Keep in mind though that they are very hard to find, once their initial production has gone out of stock... I ordered both my figs from native when they were still on preorder. If you really feel like you absolutely need it, you could give the
tokyo hunter a hit. Though his site seems down, I'm pretty sure he still does what he did for years ( hunt down hobby items for good $$$ ), I'm pretty sure you could reach him somehow...
unless you would be heading down to akiba yourself sometimes... that'd prolly be the best idea... ( I had to buy a 2. (bigger) case to carry all the figures I bought on my trip to tokyo a few years ago... thank god they didn't check my luggage, when I returned home >.>; )
The Catgirl wearing the sukumizu on the cushion is from To Heart 2. Season. ;3
Now how many of us can relate to Steve Carell's character in The 40 Year Old Virgin with all that stuff that he collected?
Ripper, thanks for the input. I fall into the first category, i.e. I never open the boxes. I've heard of some people buying at least 2 figures - one to keep MIB, one to display like Squirrelsquid does. Not my deal due to the cost and I don't like having duplicates. As I said I just don't have the space nor setup and I would prefer not to get them dusty. So I have largely moved away from figures unless its my ATF character/waifu, Asuka.
Like I said I know of at least 2 other larger Eva collections and since the 2 of you are into figures, if this doesn't blow your mind I don't know what would. Not mine of course since I keep my stuff in the box:
