Shocking, to say the least!

Well, that was just depressing. I was content to believe that Erica's tale was sad enough starting off when she was a pre-adolescent crippled bomb-detector...NOPE, not dismal enough it seems.

You are right. Since the beginning it is clear that she is a victim and actually a giant among insects, but a girl we believed as a victim of a corrupted and decadent society destroyed by and endless war is brutalized by even more shocking details than we expected. Human macro and micro society, on Earth or on Mars, has potential to be continually surprising - for the good and, unfortunately, for the bad.

Can someone read the title of the book ?

The book is Vom Kriege Zwei (On war, part two), by Von Clauzewitz.

Very nice episode. I wasn't really keen on the first chapters but this is quite interesting.I wonder what this has done to Erica's psyche. She has dissociated herself with reallity when she was young. Is this also her coping mechanism how she dealt with her being a necrosoldier?

believe this chapter job is to add Erika as new villan in the story. The head of the necrosoldier is the story villan ( the one that will sent enemy for Alita to beat ) and Erika will be the emotional villan.

Tragedy all over the places, if only I could see the sakura blossoms at least once...

When an author "carrega nas cores" (Sergio please translate this one), I mean, exaggerates too much on the bad side of the story, it loses verisimilitude and the story starts to be laughable instead.

Yukito, enough with the crap and start the damn fucking Panzer Kunst school already!!

I actually believe this is the best chapter of the new arc. He have some violence not from the war but from a family. And how this small violence did more damage than the war in it self. And finally we have new pieces of information. We until yesterday assumed Erika was like the other girls. This means we can suppose that she went in the Kunst school with her own agenda and she as been doing , what she was doing in Mars ( the space neo-nazi ) for her own reason.

It's becoming more and more cheesy to my eyes. Only a bit of light on Alita's past (the stuff she forgot prior the beginning of this arc) can revive my interest.

By the way, thank you for this new chapter anyway.

Wow. Thanks for the upload, really disturbing chapter. Let's see what consequences this brings to the story.

You know, i'm not a big fan of those yoko's childwood flashbacks, but this one was good, it really added something.

What I liked about the flashbacks in LO was that they were triggered by certain events that made Alita say I've experienced this before...

This time it's not as clear what the triggers are. Or is it just the more Martian air she breathes the more her memories are awakened.

I think that at this point of the story, Gynoid Gally has fully ricovered her memory. I wonder what happened to Organic Gally on Earth.
