I think overall, the most famous manga that is similar to Battle Angel is Ghost in the Shell. That manga features a strong female protagonist, takes place in a cyberpunk world, and has similar philosophical themes.

I think in terms of writing style, it's similar to hunter x hunter in some form,they both give lengthy explanation and sometimes uses narration techniques to describe what the character is thinking
