Now, the reason for this post:
Since it looks like ADV is going to drop the Gunslinger Girl manga, is there any possibillity of you guys scanlating and releasing it? I think it is a really great story and more people should have a chance to read it...

I love that one two, also animation series of Gunslinger girl is great. I hope 2nd series will come out soon.

The problem with a second season is that in the manga everyone is alive and well, but in the anime they managed to kill off Angelica, meaning that a second season would be even more different from the manga than the current season already is. But if they moved from the manga alltogether and created something completely different that would be fine too...
