That's because she's looking ahead, not directly at you, From this perspective she should've looked in the center of the picture, this way in low-res she will appear looking directly at you.
And when you resize you just meet her eyes.

Hairs in the 2D picture have more round volume.
Also the emotion on Alita's face is different. Eyes got bigger, looking right at us, lip-edges look down, lips opened.

I don't quite like the Alita's waist wobbling at the end of the animation - this makes her look amateurish. I think you should smoose the motion, even if it doesn't follows the real physics.

Blade is quite good. Maybe it needs a slightly colour change, to make black metal even deeper (or even inverting colours)? And since the blade is made with rare elements it can actually have different color - violet (if i'm correct, Kishiro drew it violet).
