Not really. Zechs alone could beat most of it, and Zazie finished it without real efforts.
Venusian team ended with more powerfull fighters, and actually put them in difficult situation.
Also Ygrec "final form" is probably gonna require at least the same treatment as Anomaly, witch is not nothing.
Plus I'm not sure it's 100% over yet. I still can't imagine Pissaro getting killed like that. Olympe, however, is allready dead for me.

i wonder how Ygrek will fight with this .... hmmm .. plant-flesh-body enchancment (maybe spelled smth wrong).. i hope it will not turn out in some godzilla fasion monster .. (although it could be fun)

If this would hapen like with Anomaly i wonder if Zecka pierce another dick with another beer bottle

that would be MOST funny thing to see

about Tunguska i dissagree... imagine u are waching Zott and ... "Holy S***!!! it cut THROUGH shields like butter!!!! Run for your lives".. etc.. etc..

At lest we should see how this beast fights ..

The relationship between Olympe & Ygrek feels a lot like Kishiro's homage to The Beauty and the Beast, but like aforementioned - I can't imagine much of a happy ending for the couple. I predict a Shakesperean tragedy in the veins of Romeo & Juliet.

I can't help but think that the Alita/Sechs rivalry will come out in the finals. Maybe it will start with Sechs vs. Zekka, but Zekka also has a rivalry of some sort with Toji and his master who now lives inside Toji.

Just a theory, but I think that it will end up being Alita vs. Sechs, Toji Vs. Zekka. It would be so underwhelming to see Alita fighting Toji and so predictable.

It would be a plot twist. And it would be consistent at the same time. Maybe Sechs wants to win the Zott with Zekka, not Alita, since he (Sechs) is always trying to outdo her and wants to be his own entity, not always in Alita's shadow or associated with her.

And from what I read, Zekka hates the master inside of Toji, and Toji and Alita are now friends.

Seriously though, if they just take a straight path with no twists and turns in the story, or even just the Zott, it's totally boring, and that is not the goal of any artist (to bore their audience).

Toji and Alita being friends doesn't mean they won't fight each other. Didn't they promise themselves to fight without holding back?
IMHO they are only likely to team up vs a new even bigger/crazier opponent like Nova X (or was it Supernova ,-) LO has been very hard to predict until now and I'm hoping for a big surprise! Maybe Team Karate will not make the finals?! And don't forget the secret sword of Damocles.

At first, after the rather simplistic Phase 82, I was really starting to get despaired. The fight looked really uninspiring for my mind, maybe its because I couldn't read what the characters was saying, I don't know. Anyway, now I feel the 'brainlust' (this is how I call the feeling I get when reading GUNNM, it feels good) again.

The only thing that bother me is the whole thing with Olympe, too emo for me, but well its okay since she got such a fine ass indeed.

Yurk. Hell no. I like Gunnm and Kishiro works in general because he's the kind of guy who can tell heart moving stories about girls without doing the "RAPE SEX AND PROSTITUTION IS DEEEEEEEEP" that as become so comon nowaday.
Him doing porn stuff would ruin my opinion on him forever.

It was SO common in Samurai Champloo, I couldn't even watch that show! Seriously, how many times does forced sex in brothels need to be brought up in a 26 episode show!?

Three times, two of which were a double episode. Fairly common theme in samurai manga (Blade of the Immortal, Lone Wolf and Cub, Samurai Executioner, and more).

About Brothels in mangas.. i think that whats wrong with that.. Yukito isn't in my opinion ploting LO to show how harsh lifes of wemen are, but to show how harsh is life of people in generaly.

Brothels in mangas are showed because prostitution was common hmmm "crime" or way of life that someone had to do for living.. Dont forget its about XVII-XVIII CENTURY

There wasn't even bathroom in house, and people stinked like hell. Not to mention that drugs werent soooo spread. Only think that Yakuza could work on thinks likie intimidiations, hazard, tribute or prostitution to make income. Not to mention Slavery..

Soo... Brothels were comon things like going to cinema in that time..

Anyway i also agree that in some mangas plot about prostitutes is overused..

I disagree. Script quality is always important, no matter what the line is.
Marquis de Sade for example, was a great writer, in spite of being extremely violent and, yes, too obscene.

Second, especially since most pornographic manga looks the same after a while. If the story/situation is not good, then it does nothing for me.

After reading few (or more than few) hentai books i have to agree with you.. without story.. content suks ... no matter how good drawings are ..
