i thought the scene when she was fighting Gavit was the same, but it wasn't

recycling is good for the planet anyway, and this tribute to Jashugan is indeed a mark of value for Trinidad. Panzer Hack Kunst for the win !

I think she used that move several time before, with small variations. I'd say it's a "standard" Panzer Kunst move.
Btw, are Kishiro drawing skills worsening ?
I noticed that as well. Hopefully it's just a temporary tiredness issue, or a transitional, experimental change of style. The latest cover he did for Ultra Jump has the same problem, so it's not just a mistake.

What do you mean? The latest cover shows Gally's face, as far as I can remember.

author's drawing is softening, as the years goes on he has gally on the tip of his tong...err pen, i mean pen :!:

this is classic matter on a long running comic, be it US, european or manga/manwha... you can regret the digital editing, but evolution of perspective or faces, it's just normal, the drawing matures with our reading of the story, i find that quite interesting actually :D

I'm talking about this picture. It has the same default as gally's face in the lase panel. It doesn't look right.

^ We should hire some hitmen to give Kishiro a fair warning then.

Yup, It’s easy to notice in long-ass works like GLO. I remember when Last Order started and people were taking note of how Alita lost some of her “innocent” looks from the original (not big enough lips perhaps).

When you’re drawing the same character for two decades it’s impossible to keep the appearance you started out with. The character is bound to look different from one phase to another. Sometimes a character can look slightly off even between two panels.

No no, the last picture of Alita in ch. 91 really is a bit off, but the UJ cover is very nice imo. Just look at it for a minute, it'll pull you in :D And watch at it in large size, as the drawing is nice too, like a crayon, not the usual ultra-clean-photoshopped style.

Of course the style changes, but not only because of the long run, but also because Alita grows up, as we have discussed somewhere else before. First she was around 14 , like Yugo, (set aside that she actually is over 200 years old), now she is in her end twenties.
This one: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/battle_an ... 072/5.html
or this (bottom): http://www.mangafox.com/manga/battle_an ... 78/12.html

its very different and rather mature, too, compared to earlier drawings. But its cool, its still "Alita", more mature.

The only thing I have to complain about is her octopus lips. Earlier, they looked more natural, like a natural lips-form, now the look like being forcefully pitched by her.

Partially agree with that, at least in some panels. Botox was never really that attractive.

that hand is totally out of proportion/abnormally large....just think about it for a second...you dont' give woman big hands precisely so that they get that delicate look....which, i always thought, was what Kishiro was going for with gally....maybe that's changed and he wants to reflect the harsh reality of Zott...but it just makes Gally less cute :(

I just got an idea  , in this phase we can see that the massive invisible spaceship is connected somehow to Jeru. We can be pretty sure that this spaceship is one of the lost antimatter super spaceship destroyed by the attack of the Panzer Kunst on Melchizedek. So now, maybe, MAYBE, the "sword of damocles" is the virus used by gally to confuse Melchizedek during the attack, modified and now used by the Ladder, specifically M'badi. Maybe he will use the virus that was able to freak out Melchizedek on the one who now actually control it, GALLY. Maybe we will finally see the thing that will stop the overpowered state she is in right now.

But as someone said in this thread (edit: Sauer), Arthur warn M'badi that something terrible will happen if he uses the sword of damocles tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the Quantum abilities of Gally, by Isidorios' interpretation of Gally's power, Gally will probably lose control of her quantic powers and do something bad, really bad to reality.

Maybe... well thats just my 2 humble cents on the speculation, time will tell if it holds any ground, I'm pretty sure it will  .
