this morning, i hesitated to reply that every damn country in this world is racist and only a very few of those had a public debate place for this subject...

my opinion is that "don't get offended that easily" and "politically correctness is the great evil, it is not a safe replacement for good education and behaviour correctness"

and on a personal level, racist jokes are amongst the funniest ones but you can't tell them to anyone, this needs some higher level thinking, to dissociate the humour from the people and their drama.

I know hatred exists, but I'm not ok with it, and I find it necessary to fight against it, to try and prevent it from spreading.

Reminds me, as a german, most of us who aren't unnatural bald no brainers who's right forarm seems to be locked in raised possitions or pot smoking complainers who demand that our nation should completly remove all our military, it's always difficult to say ANYTHING negative about another ethnic group.

Because all too often someone will pull out the NAZI card.

So non of us can even pull racist jokes.

Funny enough the people from the ethnic groups (often 2nd generation imigrants) appear in our comedy clubs and make fun of their own people while making fun of us at the same time.

We are not as humorless as some people claim.

Indeed! The definition here is practical. In a democracy (now matter if we accept it), people (stupidly or not) choose the rulers. If the ones in power make themselves the only eligible ones, it is a just a rigged context.

The fact that Chavez is a scoundrel (and believe me, he is) does not change the fact that he is much more legitimate than George Walker Bush, for example, who manipulated the election in Florida and took the power from Al Gore. If that had taken place anywhere else, UNO observers would be accompanying the elections in the country, but once it happened in the "land of democracy"…

Besides, this is a thread for discussing GLO100. It is assumed that spoilers will be posted right out in the open. If you didn't want to be spoiled, you should have read the last two or three release threads first.

Hilarious pics mooV! Your theory about Europe igniting over immigration problems is far to pessimistic if not right-wing propaganda. Im not saying that there are no problems, but immigration has been ongoing for decades like in the US. Don't take the Swiss and other squallers as example as the are mostly opposed to immigration. F.e. newly the Swiss wants to expel all well-immigrated Germans cause the fear that the Swiss health care system may be subverted. My guilt runs deeper than ocean. Actualy im against "nigger" in translation to polish it has realy offensive meaning so even i don't call people by it. In my country there are few offensive terms for this people. Legitimate and legal word i prefer to use word "black" but in polish it has wired sounds ... - murzyn. So i use it mostly to reference of colour. People are people and there aren't 2 similiar being on this planets. If you preatend that you can't see diffrence by using political correctness you just can lie in the ditch and die (most of politic should do that). Mostly people who insults others are just narrowminded idiots. They offensive altitude is born from ignorance, envy and hate. If you can't drop this 3 thinks than WORK to drop it.

I have to apologize to all of you, guys.

This was all an act of trolling, although I've expected it to develop absolutely differently. I should have stopped this theater of idiotism right after it's start, but I was curious to see how it evolves.

My first post was obviously a provocation, aimed at Sergio (he is the most interesting interlocutor here) - I knew he was partially black, so I was expecting him to react in the first place, although I didn't expect others (especially Twitchy) to run amuck.

Well, I am a stray man, as I am a mix of Portugueses, Brazilian Indians, Negroes and Jews, so I have no reson to have pure race animals

However, his reaction was a complete surprise for me - instead of acting offended, he decided to be above it, and the only thing he was interested in was a linguistic origin of the words!

Yes, I've said quite nasty things, to be honest, I've overexaggerated a lot on purpose - just to make the conversation more juicy.

My real opinion about the subject is to call everything it's real names, that's all. It's not necessary to insult minorities nor use rude language against them, but don't play the hypocritical politcorrectness. Everyone knows it's hypocritical.


I'm sorry I've brought such an instablilty and quarrel to this peaceful forum, especially in the anniversary glo 100 topic - that was really narrow-minded from my side.
