Makes me wonder if he sill use fan submissions as basis for characters, since that was essentialy his publishers idea from what i had read somewhere.

先週打ち合わせで講談社に行きました。
まだ決定ではありませんが、来年3月下旬ぐらいから本誌掲載開始、
5月ぐらいから銃夢LO講談社版単行本刊行開始、という方向になりそうです。

ちなみに現在集英社から刊行中の銃夢新装版は再版しませんので、
買えるのは現在流通している分のみです。
YJC版単行本や完全版も絶版になります。
講談社からはとうぶん旧銃夢の紙の本は出る予定はないので、
旧銃夢が読みたくて迷っている人は新装版を買っておいた方がいいかもしれません。

僕もつーちゃんと同じで、小説をたくさん読んでいたのは高校生ぐらいまでで、成人してからは実用書・教養書・啓蒙書(っていうのかな?心理学や宇宙論とかの本)または実話怪談ばかりになってしまいました。
SF小説を好んでいたのは高校2年ぐらいまでで、そのあとは別のジャンルに興味が移っていきました。
高校生までに僕が好きだったSF小説については「ゆきとの書斎」の「気まぐれゆきと帳過去ログ一覧」→「読者からの質問」コーナー「2001年04月27日　Ｑ：少年時代に好きだったＳＦ小説は？」に書いてあります。

P.K.ディックの小説は何冊か95年〜97年頃の僕が落ちぶれていた時期に読みました。
ディックいいですね〜。
もっと若いうちに読みたかった…と思う反面、高校生ぐらいのころの僕の頭では理解できなかっただろうな〜とも思えます。

SF以外では、「白鯨」「ファウスト第2部」「ガストン・ルルーの恐怖夜話」「ジョニーは戦場へ行った」とか若いうちに読んで影響を受けました。
最近では、「ラヴクラフト全集」1〜6巻を読破しました。
子供のころに「ダンウイッチの怪」を読んであまり面白いと思わなかったんだけど、ラヴクラフトのほぼすべての短編に目を通してみて、中には面白い作品もあることをあらためて評価しました。

マンガは、僕は昔から雑誌は読まないので、なにかの縁で知って好きになったフェイバリット作品だけを単行本で買って読むというスタイルです。
マニアではないので、あまり新しい作品は知らないことが多いです。
今単行本で買っているのは、「バカボンド」「はじめの一歩」「バキ」シリーズ、「ベルゼルク」「シグルイ」「タフ」シリーズ、「ジョジョ」シリーズ、「カイジ」シリーズ…そんなところかな(順不同)。

昔好きだったマンガについては…際限ないリストになってしまうので、SF系に限っておきます。
つーちゃんが挙げた星野之宣先生、寺沢武一先生の「コブラ」に加えて、僕が影響を受けたマンガ家として板橋しゅうほう先生、大友克洋先生を付け加えておきます

He says the rough plan is to resume serialization towards the end of March 2011, with a new Kodansha tankobon coming out in May. The reprints of HFV will be still be published by Shueisha, but they will only have one printing so if you want them you should buy them sooner rather than later.

this is disappointing but I guess this puts an end to our fan anxiety concerning a possible discontinuation.
but I am wondering, what will happen about the publishers of the different translated editions, their contracts are with shueisha aren't they? So will they have to renegotiate with Kodansha for the new releases or will they have to renegotiate for the unreleased work done during the time Kishiro still worked for shueisha?

So the remaining "free chapters" that came out in UJ will be published in a Kodansha tankoubon? That smells like negotiations are needed.

Also, it is imo very likely for GLO to get a new "look" (fonts and stuff, maybe even a new numbering and/or new subtitle). Kodansha sure want's to make clear that their product is distinguishable from Shueishas GLO. Just see what happeded to Shamo's overall design after the long hiatus. I mean this doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, it's just an assumption.

Let's hope the foreign publishers are going into negotiations in January and don't wait until March.

仕事している間にも世間ではいろいろなことが起きていますね〜。
東京都がマンガ・アニメ規制条例を可決したり、
仮面ライダーカブトの人が書いた小説が賞を取ったけどつまんなくて出来レースだったんじゃないかと騒がれたり、
中国でニセガンダムが完成したかと思ったら解体しはじめたり、
中国の漁船が韓国の警備艇に体当たりしたり、
ウィキリークスを支持するハッカー集団とアメリカの愛国ハッカーたちの間でサイバー戦争が起きてたり。

僕は今年2010年は銃夢連載開始20周年、銃夢LO連載10周年、連載100話達成のアニバーサリーイヤーになるはずだったのだが、集英社の愚かな行動のせいで台無しになってしまった。
ウルジャン編集部と集英社法務部が僕に対してやったことは、石原チンタロウがマンガ・アニメ業界に対してやっていることと同等だということを、自省してもらいたいものだ。
まあ連中には想像力なんてないし、自分に都合のいいようにしか現実を受け取らないのだから無理だろうけど。

誤解されるといかんから補足しておきますけど、僕がタイソンをライバルと目していたのは「19才で世界チャンピオンになった」という当時の業績の部分だけであって、彼の人格とかは関係ないですよ。
タイソンは人間としてはぜんぜん尊敬できる人物ではないです。
