3月末で車検切れのPTクルーザーを下取りに出して、PTクルーザーを買ったときの値段＋ちょとで
商談成立。

観たDVD
・「テコンV」
1976年/韓国
知る人は知っている、マジンガーZをパクって作られたという韓国の国民的ロボットアニメの劇場版。
倉庫から発見された古いフィルムを再現し、音声トラックは完全に新録音のリマスターバージョン。
日本語吹き替えのついたDVDが発売されたというので、さっそく買って観た。
結論から言ってしまうと、意外とちゃんと作ってあって、楽しめた。
冒頭で主人公がテコンドーの世界大会に挑み、アメリカ人のチャンピオンを破って優勝。
そのテコンドーの組み手のアニメーションが非常にていねいに作ってあり、
カット割りやアップでごまかさず、ロングショットの難しい構図で描いている。
おそらく実際の組み手の映像をもとに作っているんだと思うが、
76年当時のアニメーションとしてはかなり水準が高い。
まあ、絵のクオリティはシーンによってかなりばらつきがあるが…。
現代のアニメにはない、なんとも味わい深い絵が楽しめる。
巨大ロボットを送り出して世界征服を狙う「あかいろ帝国」という謎の組織に立ち向かうテコンV。
ただの勧善懲悪ものかと思いきや、悪の組織のスパイでありながら善の心を持つゆえ葛藤する美少女アンドロイドなどがからんで、なかなか見せる。
「ジャパニウムから光子力エネルギーを取り出すことに成功しました!!」
「パイルダー・イン!!」

テコンVの特徴：
・複座式パイルダーで搭乗…正式名称は不明。デザインはすごいシンプル。
・パイルダー・イン…テコンVの頭のてっぺんがパカッと開き、その中にパイルダーが収まる。
・操縦席は胸部…推測。パイルダー・インしたあと、パイロットのみ座席ごとエレベーターで操縦室に移動。操縦室はむやみに広い。10人ぐらい人が乗ってきても大丈夫そうだ。
・操縦方法…一見前後に動くレバーしかないが、主人公は初搭乗でいきなり数々のテコンドーの技を繰り出せた。おそらくあらかじめアクションパターンがプログラムされていると思う。
・パイルダー離脱…パイルダーはテコンVの操縦にはなんの関係もないらしく、パイロットが操縦席に収まったあとは離脱して自由に別行動が可能。武装はついてないようだが、テコンVの死角を監視して指示を出したり、地上の人間を救出したりと、意外に便利。
・パイロット服…ラフなTシャツにGパン。シンプルなヘルメット。
・テコンVの飛行…翼のようなものはついていないが、当然のように飛べる。
・稼働時間…稼働時間に限界があるらしく、連戦のあと韓国からエジプトに行くのに燃料切れを心配していた。
テコンVの武装：
・小型ミサイル…拳の甲から発射する。連射可能だが、威力は低く、牽制ていどにしか使えない。
・ロケットパンチ…と言っていたが実際はロケットチョップのようだ。なぎ払うように撃つ。
・ロケットキック…これはなかなか斬新。テコンドーの使い手だから考えてみれば当たり前か。
・光子力ビーム…胸のVの字部分から発射する。
しかしテコンVの最大の武器はテコンドーの技を生かした格闘戦。
巨大ロボとは思えない身軽さでバク転、回し蹴り、跳び蹴りを繰り出す。
クライマックス直前の戦いでは、洗脳された世界第2位の格闘家が操る
３体の巨大ロボと対決する、燃える展開。
(そのうちの一体は冒頭の大会で主人公に敗れたテコンドーの元チャンプの操る「テコンドーZ」)
本格的な格闘術を巨大ロボットに取り入れた「闘将ダイモス」が1978年の放映なので、
その意味ではテコンVは最先端を行っていたのかもしれない。
ちなみに、敵のロボットはパクリではなくオリジナルデザイン。
すげーシンプルなデザインだけど。
ラスト、主人公の跳び蹴りにより敗れ去り、正体を暴かれたボスが懺悔する。
