Interesting images, certainly.
What a pity I'm entirely illiterate in that alien writing code. :(

He shouldn't have worried. Compared to several other mangas (that I will not name here) which have gone straight to hell lately, Gunnm have actually become more vital and interesting in the last few chapters imo. 107 was no exception.

I kinda speculated in a return from Don Fua, but I considered it a wildcard scenario up until now.

Lol, just yesterday was planning to post my speculation that the shocking revelation was a repeat of the Zekka/Don Fua fight with Dragon Slayer, et al which almost destroyed the onion ring, but wasn't at home to do it. Now that the raw is out, lo and behold. But now with the Damocles Sword added.

-_- Might be a good idea to post my speculations beforehand, seems like they tend come true with BAA:LO Just before they revealed that Zekka's Dragon Slayer was a directed Anti-matter annihilation and he has a particle accelerator in his abdomen to accumulate it. I was thinking, if Alita has the access to all of Jupiter's magnetic energy harvested by the Dynamo and fed via the the wormhole core, wouldn't it be possible someone would accumulate anti-matter for energy or use in an attack? (On that speculation I wasn't thinking it would be Zekka's but more on a general theme or future opponents on on Mars.)

Mmm, I was listening to the Imaginos version of Astronomy as I "read" this. Kinda overdosed on logical weirdness.

Also, shit has hit the fan in the ZOTT. At last; how long have we been there, 7 years?

Tunpo: God mode turn on!
Spoiler:
I guess we all missed the hints that started when Tunpo manifested in Toji after the Quarterfinals. So there is something up with Space Buddhism!

I was unable to understand if the question was serious or simply an irony, so here is the answer (check it in GLO05, page 8):
Aga Mbadi declared the ZOTT - a six-day tournament - opened. As we are in the finals, that must be the sixth day.

No, seriously, I was speaking of publication time. True we pretty much went through a year of hiatus, but still, I got into the series 4 years ago, and it was already halfway through the ZOTT.

Thanks for the raw!
As far as i can tell and understand it, by looking at the pics, i don't like the story very much.
Spoiler:
Again another "surprise"-opponent, seriously? I'm hoping that Zekka ends this endless tournament now, with his mighty Dragon-punch or whatever.
I don't like her new outfit! Is it only my imagination or has the quality of the drawings become worse? Especially page 14 looks like it was drawn by a different artist.

Kon-nitchi wa, minna-san! Genki?
I'm glad to see you're as happy as always. So I'm gonna ask something a bit impolite: when the chapter 106 will be released?! I think it's a bit slow... sumimasen.
Spoiler:
Her wings lasted so little... im sad :(
Don Phya is back! Shocking! Da man must be godlike by now!... And finally the Dragon Slayer!... But wait, the navel ciclotron wasn't destroyed by Secks??

I would have never thought that I will defend kamugin, but don't touch him - the forum would be much more dull without him.
He didn't say anythig offending or annoying, so why are you reacting so rude?

moooV is right. That aggressiveness was unnecessary.
I myself was too curious about the release. Fortunately, I did not ask.

The same question, from a different person would have been entirely answered differently. I deemed this aggressiveness necessary for this specific person.

Don't mind this, ask away if you need knowing about an ETA on any release, you'll not be greeted as he has been. Even if I'm upset, I'll just won't answer instead of being impolite.

But THIS guy, that's another story...

The ZOTT isn't finishing up quite as fast as I would like, but at least there aren't whole chapters about a single punch anymore!

Seriously speaking the ZOTT arc has stayed well past it's welcome. Thus far it's taken 1.5 times as long as the second world war. Other stuff that has been finished quicker:

The entire run of the first Battle Angel Alita series
The second grade in elementary school, starting count from the birth
The lunar program from the first unmanned launch to cancellation

Well Vendigo, I'm starting to lose faith that I'll live long enough to see Guts reach Elf Island with his accumulated child-army, and the ZOTT has been quite a bit more entertaining than the last 100 chapters of Berserk.
It's been worth it to build up the cast of secondary characters to the extent that we've seen.

The ZOTT has been a mechanism to flesh out the greater Solar System without resorting to a travelogue; we've had a good taste of Tiphares, Jupiter, Mars, Venus and even Mercurian society without doing a lot of illogical spaceship hopping or the "Grand Quest" scenario.

And for the record, I was never pleased with the "Wham, Bam, Thank you M'am" Disney ending of the first series.

Yeah, roughly 106 chapters worth.

Te way you put, I have to agree: it does make sense. Also, GLO 13 & 14 give a great picture of Venusian and Martian political systems, indeed. Finally, the series of great symbolism, since Olympe is introduced in the core of a flower, is simply great.

In short, although I agree the ZOTT is an eternal tournament, I have to agree we did have great moments.
Your point of view is simply marvelous.
