Re: GLO 110 RAW
Thanks for the link.
Would someone clarify?
Trinidad had three brainchips before absorbing Desty Nova's, so he was supposed to have four brainchips now, besides his organic brain, or am I mistaken?

Re: GLO 110 RAW
I can't open the rar file.
What is the password exactly? Is it "%_rsf_2012" ?
It doesn't work with Stuffit Expander on my Mac.

God damn it ! I don't even have time to take care of the french releases !

Re: GLO 110 RAW
No, Mbadi not absorbed Nova´s chip, remember Super Nova? he is running the 2 brain chips Mbadi got from the Nova who come with Gally.Sergio Nova wrote:Thanks for the link.

Still wondering, the change in Gally face in later chapters is Kishiro style evolving or Gally´s personality evolution reflecting in her physical form?

Re: GLO 110 RAW
1. GLO 03, pages 38-39: Mbadi DID absorb Nova's brainchip.bhaal wrote:No, Mbadi not absorbed Nova´s chip, remember Super Nova? he is running the 2 brain chips Mbadi got from the Nova who come with Gally.
2. It would make no sense a Desty Nova with two brainchips alike, having exactly the same data, I think.
Re: GLO 110 RAW
1.- Not, Mbadi is preparing for the asimilation, as he stated it will be hard and he need time to do it.Sergio Nova wrote:1. 1.- b) GLO 10 pages 139-140 Mbadi talking with Nova´s brain chip and propose him to be his right hand,
2.- GLO 10 page 141, 2 brain chips on Super Nova skull,
2.- b) GLO 10 page 142, explanation of changes on Super Nova personality because running 2 brain chips in parallel.
I think the theory behind the 2 brainchips is the same as in having multiple physical cores in a single processor, you can multitask more efficiently.

Re: GLO 110 RAW
Wow a lot going on here. Can't wait for the translation.
Am I the only one that feels cheated by Mbadi's death? There's all this build up of his combat powers and his past exploits and then he gets owned by Vilma this chapter. What a cop out. Since when did he degenerate into a paper pusher? Or was that the point?

Where did the second came from? I used to think the second chip is the "backup" that Nova's use to have in his stomach.bhaal wrote:2.- b) GLO 10 page 142, explanation of changes on Super Nova personality because running 2 brain chips in parallel.

btw, it seems that Z.O.T.T. is finally over, there will be no aftermath.
Re: GLO 110 RAW
Most likely, as we see in GUNNM 09, Nova back up chip is fully functional and capable of action on absence of main brain chip.Abaddon wrote:Where did the second came from? Yeah, is the end of Z.O.T.T. but I think we will see 2 or 3 more chapters for the resolution of this arc before moving to Mars.

Re: GLO 110 RAW
Wow, what a resolution. Only weakpoint in my opinion is that Don Fua is basicly a Deus Ex machina. Well better than making Gally it again.
I mean he closes a singularity, removes MBadi's brain chips (i wonder if the personalities of their original owners were still in them?) and even removes Pain from Gally's mind.
One has to feel a bit sorry for MBadi, guy was once a hero but was destroyed by his own ego in the end.
Also funny how the whole "build a tower to the floating city" plot point kind of resolves itself so easily. Also funny how the massiv pile of junk prevents a worse catastrophy from happening. Also there was a second orbital pillar city on the other side of Earth which apperently has a lot of air traffic? Why did we never hear anything of them before?
By the way, did the factories always looked like boxy brains?
So, next stop MOON!!!

Re: GLO 110 RAW
I thought the same thing, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility he's made some backup of himself somewhere (just like with Nova). "Neo-Mbadi" could show up in the future!samb wrote:Am I the only one that feels cheated by Mbadi's death? Re: GLO 110 RAW
This Phase was so epic that everyone was too excited to put <spoiler> tags.
The Scrapyard's sister city, Gurat (Nezher in the translation) is shown on p. 23 in the ocean as being raised to compensate for Ketheres/Tiphares dropping in elevation.
Tunpo takes Col. Payne and the 3 GENE Project brain chips into Nirvana/another dimension so they can no longer cause trouble?
I don't see mini Sechs when the pit crew is shown but he may be in Yani's front pocket.
And to make sure that Mbadi really is dead, Caerula also breaks the window next to him so he gets tossed into space.

So now it becomes a mini tower to build instead of this massive thing that originally took 5 years. They also need to get the mountain of trash from Tiphares cleaned up.othergrunty wrote:Also funny how the whole "build a tower to the floating city" plot point kind of resolves itself so easily...Also there was a second orbital pillar city on the other side of Earth which apperently has a lot of air traffic? Re: GLO 110 RAW
gods be blessed, for a moment i thought you guys got caught by the FBI too
EPIC chapter, i keep reading it again and again for 2 days, EPIC EPIC EPIC
the gravitationnal unbalance when part of the counterweigth is removed (onion frame going luna), this was delicious piece of hard SF, i loved every last bit of it !
next chapter is March 27 though
so, according to the vol6 endbonus, zott was taking place inside the onion frame, and the ladder council was inside the onion frame top. since the whole structured took flight toward the moon, that leaves :
- zalem/jeru in total autonomy
- the five space docks separated, will they reattach to jeru ?
- gally, xazi and space angel's crew are still inside the onion frame, going to the moon...
- ... where zekka just arrived moment earlier.
guess the Meaning of Manhood will have his first disciple handed right to him
also, the antipod station is a water (hydrogen/oxygen transport) extraction and shipping facility.

Re: GLO 110 RAW
March 27!! I hope the planned layoff does YK some good.
I recalled the dialog from when Caerula and Mbadi met in that corridor on the Onion Frame - "Shall I ask now for the life you owe me?"
I also wanted to see Mbadi seriously use Kalaripayattu though - unless that neck breaking move with one arm counts.

Re: GLO 110 RAW
Wow! What a chapter!
Thank you very much people for this raw and the recent releases. Also thanks ^Ripper for the site/forum quick return after the recent "black out".
Since nobody seems to be concerned about spoilers, I'm gonna comment in the open too.
One of the best things about Kishiro's is that he is very knowledgeable about science and is correct as much as possible regarding it. The formation sequence of the black hole accretion disk is just perfect, can you people picture how it would be on the big screen? Hollywood is far behind!
It is pretty obvious that Don Fua converted some of Jupiter's energy into matter to create that black hole, however the amount of energy neccessary to do such a feat is absurd! Comparatively the whole Earth's mass would produce a black hole's events horizon of just one centimeter in radius.
And what are the consequences since now Earth have a dangerous black hole satellite?
In spite of how much I liked seeing Trindad's death, I don't think this will be the last time we saw him, since Nova was able to took fail proof countermeasures to prevent his own death, why Trindad wouldn't? Obviously he is above Nova in every aspect, truly Alita's most dangerous foe so far. Let's see his "death" as a big slap in his face, in a given time he will be back thirsty of vengeance, unless if Kishiro wants to keep him dead of course. Nevertheless it was a somewhat a "too easy" death for him.

Well I think that Don Fua is just half "deus ex machina" since he had to struggle quite hard to bring things to a good end and he needed Alita's aid too. But truly he is a godlike character, specially in the very end. Oh I loved the way he ripped off Trindad's brainchips! It was "the Hand of God" indeed. Also he took off that pain-in-the-butt Colonel Payne as a bonus! Characters like Don Fua, Alita, Zekka and Trindad are all in gods' power level, the Zott's last match was truly a fight of gods. However I still think that Alita's role is this last match was quite disappointing to be true, she was less impressive than I was expecting.othergrunty wrote:Wow, what a resolution. I'll probably recognize my mistake in the future, but I think he's definitely DEAD. I woudn't feel bad if Trinidad never shows up again. Does it make Super Nova the most dangerous at the moment? He always have a new trick, I bet he's gonna surprise us soon.kamugin wrote:In spite of how much I liked seeing Trindad's death, I don't think this will be the last time we saw him, since Nova was able to took fail proof countermeasures to prevent his own death, why Trindad wouldn't? Don Fua is a character I'll miss for sure. Re: GLO 110 RAW
i just read it once again... that page 3 with the accretion disk going relativist and emitting its gamma/xray beam, following the scalar lines and bolting to the other satellite
will be a bitch to translate though, hopefully we are quite a few here with some understanding of what's going on
i draft joined the double page... that baby once cleaned will become my new wallpaper, replacing the double page when ido found yoko's corpse in vol7. zalem to the ground, nothing less
