In es. year 590, unsuccessfully run by the Barjack, it became a free trade farm, but not possessing an indipendent defense force caused a tragedy. In es. year 588 Ido opens his medical clinic. Always in short of skilled cyberphysicians outside Scrap Town, it earned great popularity.

After “Den” rised in revolt to the Typhares/Factories system, bandits and carriers in the neighbourhood settled down. With the collaboration of free merchants a town was constructed on the place where a small relay station along the river wasn't sufficient anymore. It was called Barjack Town. Possessing large-scale power plants, steelworks and all sorts of plants, it's the first industrial town in the continent not controlled by the Factories. Here were manufactured the Barjack troops weapons, small arms ammunition, cyborg parts, Den's gigantic body, the railway gun Heng and so on. After the Barjack dissolution, it's being governed by a few powerful free merchants. Even Mr. Steed, who planned the attack on Farm 21, is one of those.

Finally confirmation that Alhambra is based on the real life Alhambra in southern California as well as that the Scrapyard is in Kansas City, not St. Louis.
