In other words the first battle angel alita in volume 9 where the alternate end happen with Alita being human in some underground area.

Seriously?! You have never read the side story about Sonic Fingers, or Alita hunting a broken deckman when she still was a tuned agent, or the clone girl that Ido try to help and etc.? Shame on you, moooV! Not only that, you also shame all of the old members here...
The only thing really new are the short works drawn by Yukito before starting Gunnm that are being offered as a bonus in the omnibus edition of GLO: Hito, The Machine, plus other three more.

Go read them before they send you back to Siberia.

Of course I did, including the "another story" thing about Den's return. I didn't read the new unrelated stories (which you call the before-gunnm stuff), so that thing's new for me.

Btw, long time ago I've seen some scans in japanese where Alita fights a woman and some weird looking guys on this forum somewhere - that shold be the "extra story 2" (since extra stories had numbers 1,3,4), I guess. It would be cool if someone translated it.

Probably those were the illustrations for the Gunnm novel, the only thing related to the series that wasn't translated in English yet.
