it's interesting he's setting up more plot points just hope he doesn't bite more than he can chew. I liked the chapter more world building but that plot twist didn't see it coming, liked it more than berserk this month and last. Feels good to comment on this forum again.
What do we desire of life in this world?
What do we desire?
What do we have to show for ourselves?
We accomplish nothing if we fear failure.
If only we could be
stronger...
Thank very much for the chapter Fluffy!!!
and thank you very much to Ripper for enabling me to read it! I had the same problem as Moov and couldn't open the file. You are a life saver!!!
Et le coureur à bout de force ... fut accuelli par une tempête de tollés!!!
I've read it and understood that I don't remember most of names (characters, places, factions, etc) and can hardly recall the plot. MC is hard to perceive for me in general.
Looks like I've got too old for this stuff - it would be better if I wait several years for it to accumulate and re-read it.
I'm amazed no one noticed this but, Erica mention Ninon, I thought she and Yoko both lost their memory of that incident back at chapter 5, wonder how they got it back all of a sudden

The repression was only temporary to cope with the situation at that moment (just as the memory of how she killed her parents). When she came to grip with it and unbderstood it she got her memory back (which could be the moment when she went on an excursion with Muster to that recycling plant). Anyhow, she would have gotten her memory back eventually anyway because she was tha one that erected a memorial for Ninon to lure Alita to Mars. We still don't know what the treasure of Mars is, though. I doubt it's only a shiny disc.
The disc contains a major madical breakout of some sort. Maybe mathuzalization. And Muster seemed quite aware of what they were going to find as "the treasure".

The disk didn't help Muster to heal his disease, so perhaps it will end up as just another hole in the plot.
The Hell is here, life itself is hell and humans are at the same time the demons and the damned.

Spoiler:
They would not leave that as a plot hole since it is actually the main plot of muster.
My guess is that he will now use it to attempt to cure himself in the queen's presence, or he will test it first on her to make sure it works.
I think it's soon to assume the disk didn't cure Muster. All those flashbacks and forewards are confusing, but at the "present" time of last chapter very short (maybe a few weeks) have passed since they unearthed the treasure.
By the way Muster's tumor in last panel seem to have grown a lot. Maybe he stopped any kind of therapy he was under.

The tumor seems to accelerate in growth, which could explain why Muster survive twice before, as I assume the tumor has some regenerating properties since the growth seems to only increase with the tumor. My bigger question than the disk, is who made the tumor thing in the first place.
Fools! The disk, judging by its size, is a laserdisk and no device able to play it has survived. Even nowadays it is hard to find a working laserdisk player

So true! My other theory is that the disk is the only survived copy of Dragon's Lair.
