New Alita Comic-Con figure
Sorry if this has been posted before but I just had to share this in case it hasn't. This also gives us a good look at Alita's berserker body and I think it looks cool.

Re: New Alita Comic-Con figure
As a figurine collector, I didn't get impressed. I wouldn't like to add it to my collection. Yet thank you for sharing.
The Hell is here, life itself is hell and humans are at the same time the demons and the damned.
Re: New Alita Comic-Con figure
I actually think they look pretty good. I hope the movie promotion will also bring collectibles based on the original manga...

I'd take that scale figure over funkopop anyday, but the poses are boring it needs to show the cybornetic body doing something like slicing with the blade or or have her standing on the bike like during kaos arc.

Wow these are beautiful I just don't like the first one's neckline as it looks like she is wearing a suit rather than it's actually her body. that's the kind of merchandising I can get behind, though to e honest I'd rather take manga inspired figures.
Et le coureur à bout de force ... fut accuelli par une tempête de tollés!!!
Re: New Alita Comic-Con figure
I actually prefer the Weta figures over Prime1 as Prime1 has statues that they've announced years ago with no word on release date so the Alita Prime1 could be 3-5 years from actual retail.
Re: New Alita Comic-Con figure
The quality of the figure is undeniable but the design of the body is quite ugly and disproportionated, i like the clothed one more and this don't add to the result of the body design.
In te trailer we saw Gally with the prostitute's arms (aka, the hands that touched the c***s of half of Scrapyard's population) but the statue clearly don't have it and it isn't a motorball body.
So, will there be a beserker body in the movie? And that an Zapan's presence means there will be a second Alita movie if this one doesn't flop? So maybe a trilogy with the Barjack's war and the secret of Salem? Did i miss nerd speculation posts?

And by the way, what the frell is that ugly sword? Shouldn't it be too early for the Damascus Blade? I really hope that this is Zapan's knife.
Re: New Alita Comic-Con figure
The neck flaps around the 1/6 scale look super ugly.
But the other one looks ok. (other than the eyes of course)
Would love to get a new more manga styled figure eventually.

Who cares? The Damascus blade is cool, besides they already confirmed Motorball is in the movieMrFaber wrote:And by the way, what the frell is that ugly sword? Shouldn't it be too early for the Damascus Blade? I really hope that this is Zapan's knife.
Re: New Alita Comic-Con figure
Apparently it's Zapan's knife, at least by looking at the new trailer. If that's the case, it looks awesome, I expect the Damascus blade to look even better (and I hope they won't put it in the first movie).MrFaber wrote:And by the way, what the frell is that ugly sword? Re: New Alita Comic-Con figure
Just a side note but does anyone have the berserk prime 1 to compare/contrast with alita prime 1 as apparently berserk is getting 1/3 &1/4 scale line. So would the alita prime 1 be about 90-120 lbs like the berserk black swordsman prime 1 statue that was released last year?
Re: New Alita Comic-Con figure
According to photos from comic con the blade that Zapan is holding IS the damascus blade.Pablolein wrote:Apparently it's Zapan's knife, at least by looking at the new trailer. If Alita gets the blade from Zapan then that already sounds like another lame and unnecessary change.
