Wow, I must say, the robo asylum and the leviathan miniarc, wich i first thought, where filler arcs, are now bound to the whole story very well. Kishiro did it again!
spoiler:
Also he managed to let Alita went deep into Melchizedek and out again with no break in the ZOTT- storyline. Well done!
Only sechs is a bit like Luffy from One Piece now. gomu gomu no super sonic blast.
3 opponents so far, there should be one left. If they had went all out together... but maybe this was the joveian hybris
After that, there could be a little chapter, Mbadi & Co. clean up the mess or something? Lets see.

Here's what's going on, near as I can figure out without looking a bunch of words up...
SPOILERS
Mbadi's troops are looking for Alita and the Fata Morgana. Can't find it. He starts to wonder if they had other people helping them (the Namnam robots).
Zazie is happy to have a minute in the spotlight, but appears to have some debilitating disease and is going to die soon. If Kishiro gives her tuberculosis, I am going to fucking lose it.
Mr. Jovian Spectator is a bit concerned that Wohmen's 3rd and 4th forms aren't up to snuff, at which point the next form pops out, which is "Tunguska."
(ed. note: Huh? See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunguska_event)
The announcers speculate that this is a "last boss" (literally, they say that).
Cut to Jovian control HQ, where they are opening up a Quantum Gate and unleashing a wormhole inside Tunguska's head. It cuts through the shield like butter, and people start panicking.
Mr. Jovian Spectator goes a bit nuts, laughing maniacally, and dubs it the Jupiter Beam, and says he's going to teach all the countries a lesson with it. Something cuts off his arm -- I think it's the Jupiter Beam.
Most of Ketheres's energy is being diverted to cover up the gaping hole in the Onion Frame, and Mbadi is a bit concerned, obviously. He's also amazed that the Space Angels could make them go that far.
The Namnam robots come to the Space Angels' ship, say they have the Space Angels' "master," and give Deckman 100 the P-Box and what appears to be a Sachumodo-type fetus with the fata morgana in it.
Deckman asks, "What happened to you, master?" and the robots answer him with beeps and boops, which he takes as something of great import.
The mechanics are like, "Man this shit is crazy, I'm out of here," and try to get away, but the Deckman forces them to turn around. At gunpoint. Well, bazooka-point.
Zazie is planning to hit Tunguska with an EMP Grenade, and Sechs goes to buy her time with an Expand Punch, which does jack and shit.
Deckman comes to the rescue, crashing the ship into the place, and yells, "Im returning the master to you, Sechs!"
Tunguska catches Alita-fetus, and starts squishing it. The Jovian puppetmasters start yelling that there's a nanomachine invasion, and that Tunguska isn't prepared for that. So he cuts off his own arm.
They also yell something about Trismestigus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermes_Trismegistus
Yeah, beats the hell out of me.
And then, yep, Alita's back.

hmmm....i went back and compared pics of alita before her "destruction" and after she returned (only one pic so far, lol)Cailon wrote:Seeing urzas avatar...
My first thought was, that Alita there looks a bit different then earlier. But i cant say why.
Does anybody think the same or am i just seeing things that aren't there?
I noticed one difference....her eyes
before her "destruction" the pupils of her eyes were black....
but now, they're white....I don't know if this means anything significant, but it is a noticable difference.....
Looks like the Jupiter Team is next, and seeing the icosahedron and dodecahedron, they're probably referencing the platonic solids, 5 'underlings' for them before the boss.
One question though, how many volumes is GLO going to be? 15? 30?
I personally thought the whole story is 60-70% done, but that's just my guess.

Hm the real brain of Alita is now part of the incubator, probably her new robot-brain is linked to her real brain.
could it be that Alite have now hhigh hacking Skills too?
Becouse part of her new robot-brain is the Fata Morgahna cristall, and some brainlike mass is around the brainchip.
I think the Zott arc will be finishid in 2-3 voliums from now, and than i would like to see the Mars arc or scrapyard joins Zalem arc.

I don't think so, if you remember from Vol 1/2, that 'seed' her brain chip was with was a Sachumodo-type, the same nanotech-based construct in Tiphares. I think that nanotech-made substances in the GLO continuity have a set of common architectures, so an advanced enough nantoech 'seed' can convert/metabolize another in the same way a virus/fungus takes over a host. As 609 suddenly grew, I assume this was what happened.Hramm wrote:Don't know btw how she managed to use nano-machine to attack 609 and reconstruct the imaginos(improved berserker) body...
Two questions from me though. First, if the 'active' Alita has a brain chip, how long has she had it? The orbital cremation Yoko went through and meeting Desty Nova in his hideout are both opportunities for a switch to occur. though the latter seems more likely (he gave her that brain-box just after the struggle at Tiphares).
Second, what's the power source for her body? For that matter, what about any of the cyborgs here? I can imagine some sort of battery, fuel cell or ultracapacitor setup, perhaps gasoline/diesel for the more crude/Scrapyard bodies or fusion for the higher-end. This hasn't been answered here!
when did she get her brain chip was said in the vol10
during her "restoration" at the very beginning of GLO.
Nova restores her brain from the shreds of her body after the bombkid explode (at the end of the first serie), gives her an imaginos body, and then ... he replace the newly, freshly rebuilt brain with a chip.
rosco kill him, a copy appear with ... the Pbox, with alita's brain in it.
later she catches up with nova, climb to jeru, got pwned by trinidad etc. etc.

How can the robots make a tiphare's technology seed while as they said they can't understand the imaginos body ?biltwick wrote:I don't think so, if you remember from Vol 1/2, that 'seed' her brain chip was with was a Sachumodo-type, the same nanotech-based construct in Tiphares.
I believe it's explained in the notes of the first serie; it's nuclear...biltwick wrote:Second, what's the power source for her body? For that matter, what about any of the cyborgs here?
