Gunnm Mars Chronicles volume 9 release date

Post by 00_unit »

Seems official the magazine has announced volume 9 is being released on November 22nd. Seems like Kishiro likes to release his volumes most commonly on November lately. I wonder if he will write more chapters after volume 9 or take a brief break only time can tell.

Further update volume 9 cover has been revealed

Image.

It seems like he is doing a special edition with a 30+ page artbook as that could explain the hiatus maybe. Seems like a volume releases every november now so far.

Nice cover! I'm committed to the local edition of Mars Chronicle, but I'm sure that we won't be getting any bonuses from special editions, so I have to get this one. Will go nicely with the special edition of Houseki no Kuni #12 which also gets released on November 22. :D

Son of a bitch it finally came back after 2 years of no volumes houseki no kuni is getting its 12 volumes. They both have the same publishers I will read it once it finish as hiatuses sucks but understandable. They are also doing special editions for both manga guess kodansha knows how to celebrate a mangas return to hiatus this year

Haha, yeah. HnK-wise, we've gotten a new chapter in September after a year-long hiatus. Not gonna lie, waiting for both of my current favourites was pretty painful. The next chapter drops on November 25, and I'm pretty sure that volume #12 will be the penultimate one.

I wish Mars Chronicle had a similar schedule and as many special editions as HnK has, but oh well... I'm glad Kishiro hasn't dropped it and I hope that we'll get to see it through to the end.

Yep waiting to see how Mars Chronicle will pay off(though it would take a long time to see how admittedly). Also HNK has more chapters than mars chronicle. My only problem is Mars Chronicle compiling 5 chapters and not 6 at least. So used to Shueisha way of publishing tankobans with at least 190 pages (excluding advertisement and blank pages) of manga content.
