Well Kishiro says the series will resume on spring 2023(march-May). No updates on the series returning. It will resume serialisation on comic days and not evening(discontinued). Well not to talk about when a series is on break as that goes for berserk too.

well the series has been delayed to summer instead of spring in a recent twitter post so now it comes out in june-august

Yeah, i imagine. With the years going by i lost most of the interest in GUNNM too. I still check it when there is a new chapter, but overall Kishiro clearly doesn't care, so why would we?

When hiatus occurs frequently we wouldn't care. I know some manga series sales decrease when hiatus occurs(few exceptions ofc) which is kind of tragic to see but realistic. I mean Gunnm has so much hiatus that I stopped think about it in general(still check when it returns still). I can understand if he is ill but I think in his blog he mention he is playing video games with a ps5 which annoys tbh wish he balance his hobbies with manga but it is his choice though I also have the choice to voice my complaint and not like it as well. A lot of manga I lost interest continuing reading or planning to read due to hiatus such as vegabond, real, drifters, black lagoon, hxh.

Nevertheless I am a completionist(self proclaimed ocd) as long as it is not over 2 year hiatus I reluctantly endure.

Should have been a writer only instead of an artist too, saves him and us the headache and makes the story go faster so we can move on quicker.

I highly recommend Tengoku Daimakyō (Heavenly Delusion in English), really good future post apocalyptic mistery manga.

Due to the cancellation of the magazing it was published on, Mars Chronicles jumpet to yet another magazin but it appears there are administrative technicalities before it can see the printers.

Can anyone confirm or does anyone have more indepths?

Apparently Kishiro will publish his series in this website https://comic-days.com/ as evening magazine discontinued. The series was said to resume in Japan summer 2023, but I am doubtful that will come true.
